Highlights
  • Gala Gapisi - You’ll begin at Gosha Gala Tower, or you can opt for a pickup from your accommodation.
  • Juma Mosque - Shamakhi’s most prominent landmark is the Juma Mosque, one of Azerbaijan’s largest and most opulent places of worship. Although the current structure was rebuilt in 2013, the original was constructed in 743AD, making it the second oldest mosque in the Caucasus and the oldest in Azerbaijan. It has been destroyed and rebuilt multiple times, notably after the catastrophic earthquake that devastated Shamakhi in 1859 and during inter-ethnic conflicts in 1918.
  • Ismayilli - Our guests will have the opportunity to see the forest in Ismaily.
  • Nohur Lake - Lake Nahour is a highly popular and frequently visited natural attraction in Gabala. This natural paradise is surrounded by forests and towering evergreen mountains, covering an area of 240 hectares with a maximum depth of 24 meters. The lake boasts very clear water due to fresh water sources seeping into it, making it one of the most significant natural attractions. We will stop at a restaurant here for lunch.
  • Tufandag Mountain Resort - The final destination is the Summer-Winter Touristic Complex Tufandag, where our guests can enjoy the unparalleled beauty of nature in an exceptional recreation tourism center just about 4 km from Qabala City. The “Tufandaq” Winter-Summer Tourism Complex offers the world’s longest cableway trip, providing a panoramic view of Gabala year-round, skiing on tracks of varying difficulty, ski training, and a ski school. Please note that in group trips, you will be able to use 2 lines of the cable car.
  • Seven Beauties Waterfall - Located 4 km from the center of Gabala city, in the village of Vandam, the waterfall cascades from various cliffs, forming a 7-step waterfall. This is why it is named “Seven Beauties.” From below, only two small, lower waterfalls are visible. To see the other five, you need to climb steep steps to the top, which requires some physical effort. However, those who make the climb are rewarded with a stunning panorama from above. The waterfall is situated in a dense forest, making it always dark and cool. In winter, the area around the waterfall is covered in ice, making it inaccessible.
  • Ismayilli - We will start at approximately 8 am. The journey to Shamakhi, Gabala, and back to Baku will take around 9 hours in total, including the time spent in the car.

Great tour - I recently took a tour to Gabala, which included Lake Nohur, the cable car, and Seven Beauties Waterfall, and it was an incredible experience! The scenic beauty of Lake Nohur was breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque view. The cable car ride provided stunning panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains. The highlight was the Seven Beauties Waterfall, which was absolutely mesmerizing. Highly recommend this tour for nature lovers and adventure seekers!
