- Juma Mosque - Juma Mosque of Shamakhi or Friday Mosque is a mosque in the city of Shamakhi, Azerbaijan.Construction date of the mosque- 743-744 relies on research of a geological commission coming from Tiflis, which was led by prince Shahgulu Qajar. This date was defined with Arabic ligature on the facade of the Friday Mosque, stating the year 126 according to Islamic calendar as the establishment year.Just in this period the construction of new religious buildings – mosques – was begun in the territory of Azerbaijan. Historical appearance of ancient Islamic architectural monuments was related to Arabs’ governance and spreading of Islam in the territory of Azerbaijan. Friday Mosque of Shamakhi is considered the first mosque in the Caucasus after cathedral Friday Mosque of Derbent, which was constructed in 734.

- Nokhur Gel Lake - A few kilometres southeast of Qabala is one of Azerbaijan’s most beautiful spots. Lake Nohur is a manmade lake created after World War II to supply surrounding villages with water. Today it is a popular recreation spot consisting of a large tree-lined body of water reflecting the Greater Caucasus Mountains in its green-blue waters. Swimming is prohibited but fishing and hiking are popular.
- Tufandag Mountain Resort - Tufandag Winter-Summer Tourist Complex is located 4 kilometers far from Gabala city. The resort allows visitors to enjoy different extreme sports and tourism activities in the harmony with nature. Tufandag complex provides skiing in winter, going up to the mountains by cable cars in summer, mountain climbing by ATV quad bikes and other types of entertainment

One day before our guide will contact you and get the location of your hotel or any accommodation in Baku. Gabala is 216 km from Baku. On the way to Gabala, our first stop will be Shamakhi City which was the ancient capital of Shirvansah’s reign. Juma mosque which is considered the oldest mosque in Azerbaijan will be visited in Shamakhi. After reaching Gabala city guests will taste delicious lunch at the traditional restaurant. You can enjoy nature walking around Nohur Lake, or take a boat or catamaran ride. Tufandagh Mountain Resort is the most popular touristic place in Gabala. Guests can get a cable car and go to the top of Tufandagh Mountain. Winter Season Resort became a skiing resort as well. 7 beauties Waterfalls will be our last stop in Gabala. On the way to the waterfall, we will change our minivan to a Soviet Lada car and experience an off-road trip

An amazing day in Azerbaijan✨ - It was one of the best days we had in Azerbaijan!
We visited many places, took amazing photos and had the best tour guide, Yashar. He was very helpful, made the trip very engaging and managed the time perfectly that we didn’t feel rushed at any point of the trip✨

Best tour guide in Baku - The tour was great, our tour guide Mr Mahabat did his job very very well. I highly recommend him. he brought us to nicest place to have lunch, and told us very interesting story and facts about the places visited.

Going Above and Beyond! - I recently made a spontaneous decision to visit Gabala, a significant drive from my hotel, and I cannot express enough gratitude to the Baku City Tour company for accommodating my last-minute request so efficiently.
Mahabat, as always, showcased his depth of knowledge, ensuring the journey was as enlightening as it was scenic. His ability to weave stories and facts about the places we passed made the long ride seem much shorter. Alongside him was Emil, our driver, who ensured a smooth and safe journey throughout. His professionalism and skill on the road gave me complete peace of mind.
Together, Mahabat and Emil transformed what could have been a tiring day into a memorable adventure. It's rare to find such commitment and adaptability in a tour company, and I'm incredibly appreciative of the effort they put into making my experience outstanding. Gabala and shamakhi trip - Excellent trip and beautiful views! Although It is better to book a night at Gabala as the trip takes 4 hours, our tour guide Mahabat was very knowledgable and helpful throughout, definitely recommend

Amazing experience!! - The tour was an amazing experience. Beautiful weather, beautiful city and very family friendly ride. Yashar was our tour guide and I would recommend everyone to book tours with him. He is extremely polite, calm and friendly person and would make you feel at home away from home.

Gbala day tour in December 2023 - Hello , it was good only thing was I wasn't informed ahead that gabala didn't have snow now. Low crowded there. Specially no local tourist in Gabala.
