Highlights
  • Candy Cane Mountain - Since ancient times, people have cherished the land of multi-colored mountains. The Great Silk Road once traversed this area, where wealthy caravans journeyed and remarkable, brave individuals lived. Ancient fortresses and sacred sites stand as silent witnesses to the past. You’ll marvel at the stunning natural landscapes and the unique hues of the Sarafat Range. Capture beautiful photos of the agate mountains, and if you wish, collect real onyx stones, a type of agate, as souvenirs.
  • Qechresh - The journey to Gechresh is breathtakingly scenic, with towering trees on both sides of the road forming a natural tunnel with their intertwined crowns. Gechresh is a place of extraordinary beauty, where lush forests give way to mountain vistas, the air is crisp, and the icy water invigorates even the weariest traveler. From Gechresh forest to Khinalig village, you’ll have several stops to appreciate nature, breathe in the fresh air, and take photos.
  • Khinalug - Situated at an altitude of 2,450 meters above sea level and 57 kilometers from the district center, Khinalig is one of the highest mountain villages in both Azerbaijan and Europe. Recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, this area is likened to an open-air museum. Known as the “Island among mountains,” Khinalig is located 65 km from the district center. The cobblestone houses, arranged along the slope, resemble a multi-story building.

Incredible Mountains and Guide - The tour to Quba, the Southern Caucasian Mountains and Khindilug village was amazing. An absolute blast. Riádh was the best tour guide I’ve ever had, he really went above and beyond to expose us to Azerbaijani culture, history, and natural beauty - I highly recommend taking a tour with him!!!

The warmest tour in life :) - Ryad was our guide for my second tour with this company and we went to Gouba and old village lost in mountains, and “Candy” mountains. Despite the weather it was the warmest tour I ever experienced. Ryad helped us a lot to deal with some difficulties (wind, rain and etc) and made this trip unforgettable. Thank you for singing songs with us and for telling us interesting facts about Azerbaijan and its history. Ryad have command English, and Russian. I recommend this company to everyone I met in my hotel 😁 I attach some pictures from my last trip. Just to prove that these tours definitely happened :)

Great places are even better with great company! - Riad is fun! He can speak on politics, music, places and can sing in several languages. He places his views respectfully. We had a great time at Candy Mountains and at Eagle Point! The time at Khinalug was surreal!

Excellent tour - Our driver and the guide Ashi were excellent. The time to go to Khinalug was long but it must be seen when you are in Baku.

Xinaliq tour - It was a matter of coincidence to see the tour guides next Şirvanşahlar Sarayı. I asked them a couple of questions. And Xinaliq region was one of the points I have decided to. We couldn’t get to Sugar mountains cause of a construction site on its main road. But the rest of the tour was quite good. Our guide Reza, driver Zülfü and office workers were all very gentile. Especially Reza is a polyglot which can speak English with a pure British accent. It would be nice to see them again.

Very unprofessional - Initially I've booked and paid for a different tour, to Khinalig, but the tour agency contacted me the night before the tour to inform me that they won't do that tour as there were insufficient tourists (again, the tour was paid and confirmed) so they offered me to go to Khinalig another fay or to accept to go instead to Sheki. As I had other plans for the next days, and they haven't offered me back the money, I have accepted the tour to Sheki. They've said that they are providing a discount as this tour would have been more expensive, but upon checking with the other tour participants it was actually cheaper (100 AZN with lunch and tickets included, instead of 77 USD that I have paid). I will continue with the car which although had safety belts, the safety pin was broken and these couldn't be used. The guide was Riad and the places were beautiful, although it was a long ride (but I liked it). The guide was quite annoyed of the fact that I have actually asked questions and for half of the way he resumed talking only with the women in the group (I was the only man). Very unprofessional. The lunch was great, traditional food on the shore of the Nohur lake. In Sheki we saw only the Khan's Palace and the caravansaray, and we didn't visited the Alban church (the guide argued that was excluded from the program months ago, although the owner mentioned it in the morning as part of the tour). Also we didn't visited the bazar in Sheki but a small tourist market.
