- Melidoni Cave - (ROUTE 1)Now back to mythology Talos lived here, a prehistoric giant robot that Zeus gave to King Minos as a present to protect the island of Crete by crossing it from side to side with just a few steps! The cave’s history goes back to the late Neolithic period, as indicated by the various Neolithic tools and items found inside it. During the middle Minoan period (2100 – 1600 B.C) the cave was a worship site, probably of some female deity.
Among the findings is a double copper axe was found dating back to this period. During the Roman period the cave was used as a sanctuary of “Taleos Hermes” and sacrifices were performed here to honor him. The cave was actually a significant sacred site in the region, as it was situated on the “crossroad” of three great ancient cities: Axos, Eleftherna and Grivilon. (ROUTE 1)

Amazing!! - Me and one of my friends spent 10 days in Crete, while we were there we decided to do the quad safari and we are extremely glad we did! It was the most amazing and beautiful experience ever! The Nostos guides are so friendly and helpful! Michail who was our tour guide was fantastic he made the day so memorable and fun! If I ever go back to Bali I will definitely be doing the quad safari again!

Quad Safari - Full of enthusiasm we were picked up at our hotel. After a nice chat in the car we arrived in Bali. What a great tour we went on. Both on public roads and off road. And off road it was! The cave was nice to see and a welcome cooling on a 36 degree day. On the way back to our hotel, the Guide stopped to watch a beautiful sunset. What a joy!
Drinks and a snack are provided. The Guide takes a lot of pictures that you get by email after the trip.
Highly recommended. We would do this again.

Fabulous Experience - Fantastic fun experience. We took the 55km morning trip to the Melodion Caves. Excellent tour guide helped us navigate across the off road terrain in a safe and professional manner in the glorious sunshine. The views were absolutely breathtaking. So many tracks taking us to places we would never find in the car. All the staff we met were fabulous, friendly and helpful. Would definitely go again. Loved it.

Soldiervman from the uk - A trip out with my daughter, for the price, it's well worth it and brilliant value for the money. A good 4 hrs out, see the sites, get a tan, take in some culture, can't fault it. The team is brilliant and helpful, and the guides are first class. Well done.

Quad output - Pick up at the Inn and very professional organization.
Beautiful setting, perfect knowledge of the terrain.
A morning in a very nice quad bike.

Lovely professionals - Excellent choice of routes, our only problem was that we could not afford both of them, due to our schedule. Caring and friendly staff, we get all the information and insight we needed before the tour, and were looked after all the way. A special thumbs-up for the pictures! All vehicles in excellent condition, we were impressed by the after-tour maintenance.

Great experience 👍 - Great ride with plenty of variety,on road and off , comfortable quads , easy and safe to ride. Ride off road along droves through olive groves, amongst farms with trees laden with fruit. On road through traditional villages ,mountain roads with stunning views .Kept cool by being on the move.Patient guide who turns out also rides an Aprilia motorbike like me(!) but you don't need to be able to ride a motorbike to ride the quads ,everyone, including 2 couples in their late 60s (?apols ), got the hang of it very quickly. After we finished we both said we could have gone straight back round again!

Such a wonderful trip! - Fantastic trip! We chose to do the morning trip which took us to the Melidoni Cave which was amazing, we got a discount to the caves as we were with the quad group too which was a bonus! We were provided with helmets, water and a snack in a cool bag and you are able to keep all your possessions safe in the back of the quad. The guide makes you feel so at ease and takes you through some breathtaking parts of Crete, photos are taken of you and the group periodically throughout the trip too at some picturesque spots which you are sent to you at the end of the trip. At the end we got driven back to our hotel which was very kind as we were not expecting it! Overall we had such a wonderful day, everyone was so friendly and we would do it all over again in a heartbeat! 100% recommended!
