Whisky tour of Speyside Distilleries - John was a wonderful guide and so knowledgeable of Grantown and the Speyside whisky area, We visited Cragganmore,, Glenlivet, Glenfarclas and Glenfiddich distilleries, A wonderful day out in fantastic scenery. Highly recommended, you won't be disappointed.

The Real Deal - We thoroughly enjoyed our whisky tour with John. His knowledge and sense of humour contributed to a great day in his company. He certainly walked the extra mile and made some detours, being very attentive and responsive to our centres of interest. As it was my husband’s birthday gift, we have some unforgettable memories. Should you look forward to a visit and whisky tasting in different distilleries, we strongly recommend Strathspey Tours.

a great day whisky tasting with John - John Halliday is the perfect tour guide! A great driver with lots of stories of the history of the area. Well travelled himself, he anticipates what you need and makes valued suggestions. Next time in Scotland we would certainly ask John to take us around again.

Great Experience - We had a great day with John. He picked us up promptly from our meeting point, provided us with great insight and history into the local area, and was great about picking us up from all the tour spots promptly. A day well spent enjoying the Speyside.

Highly recommend! Friendly and informative tour - From the moment we booked our whiskey trail tour, John was very attentive and proactive in building an itinerary that met our interests.
He was very communicative leading up to the tour to make sure everything ran smoothly. The day of the tour itself we had a hiccup with a distillery losing power, but John rapidly pivoted and found us a plan B, taking us to another distillery. Overall, we had a great time, John was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend booking with Strathspey Tours.
