Made the best of the rainy weather - Pratip was a wonderful guide and came with a great attitude considering when we woke up the morning of our tour there was some heavy rain. The rain unfortunately lasted throughout the day so no distant views for us, but even the glimpses of the steep hillsides between the mist and clouds were lovely. He continued to check in with us to make sure we were walking slowly and safely, and that we were doing okay. We did the thousand steps to the first temple, then a 30 minute walk downhill through a small agricultural village. We opted not to do the longer hike due to the rain and drove the rest of the way to Namobuddha but I'm sure the hike is beautiful when the weather is good. A great way to spend part of the day outside Kathmandu when the traffic and busy streets get to feel a bit much. Fantastic driving by the driver also. Overall an enjoyable experience and would recommend (especially if you're blessed with good weather).

Highly recommended! - I had a wonderful time on this excursion! The tour pickup and drop off were both on time, which was very important to me as I had a flight to catch later in the day. My guide, Raj, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and great company. The views were amazing and it was very nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and enjoy the peaceful nature. And of course, the Namobuddha monastery is an absolute must-see while in Kathmandu.

Trekking in Nepal - Very knowledgeable guide, Prakash, very helpful in every way, so much to see and the trek wasn’t that hard but there a lot of stairs. Really beautiful and it was great to see the villages.

Nice hike, Namobuddha is a beautiful sight - Very nice hike and Namobuddha was an interesting sight to see. I was unlucky with the weather on the day as it was very cloudy but there would have been some amazing views to see from Namobuddha. I had a great day and I recommend it

Guide was exceptional | Tour was tranquil - I'm throughly enjoyed our time tour with Raj. We booked the tour last minute (less than 24hrs before pickup) and on the same day as our flight back to the US (9pm). Raj picked us up on time. Worked with us to understand our constraints and was extremely flexibly throughout the day. The driver he had with him made us feel safe throughout the drive. The ~ 2hr hike to namobuddah was beautiful and tranquil. Raj gave us the right amount of space and information throughout the tour. We had time to enjoy the hike on our own as well as ask many questions. He allowed us to go at our own paced and also shared his personal experience growing up in Nepal with us which elevated our immersion in the country. We would 100% recommend Raj to family and friends.

Day hike outside the city - We loved the scenery along the hike, outside the city, we can see the Himalayan peaks, and we visited several Buddhist monuments, monasteries including Namo Buddha at the end. Even went on a suspension bridge on the way back.
