Additional Information

Experience Bangkok in an entirely new way with our popular half-day bicycle tour, Colors of Bangkok. Cycling through Bangkok’s green lung will feel like a retreat from the city, even though it’s just at arm’s length. It’s a side of Bangkok you’ve never seen before!
Our adventure begins on Rama III Road itself, where our home base lies, but only for brief moments because the river ferry is just nearby.
Crossing the river, we find ourselves in Bangkrachao sub-district. This spot is also known to locals as the ‘Green Lung of Bangkok’ or the ‘Bangkok’s green forest’, being the city’s largest and greenest area.
Here, we pedal on raised walkways amidst lush greenery, under the cover of coconut palms and banana trees. Our first halt inside Bangkrachao is a local, off-the-beaten-path Buddhist temple with its roots going back 700 years. There’s plenty more to share about Colors of Bangkok, but most importantly, it will be a memory to cherish for all ages! Come join us

Fantastic bike ride - We have visited Bangkok many times, but never thought we would see so much nature in this big city. Beautiful bike ride in Bangkok's nature reserve. For lunch we visited a really nice restaurant and had a wonderful meal before we continued our trip. Meleehuan (Bazz) was our guide and he did really well. He looked after us well in the crazy traffic in the streets of Bangkok and was overall a good host. Really good bikes. We can highly recommend this bike tour and Thailand Biking.

Recommended to another Dutchman for cycling. - Cycled with the other organization 6 years ago, now chose this one. Nice ride, lots of greenery, wonderfully away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The guide gave a lot of explanation and we enjoyed it. Visited a Muay Thai boxing school, a local market, just a fun ride. Recommended.

Go for a bike ride in Bangkok! - I did the Colors of Bangkok Bicycle ride. To start we were offered a choice of bikes, either a mountain bike, or what I would call a beach cruiser type bike. I chose the beach cruiser. It was very comfortable and functioned well. Fern was our guide. She provided lots of interesting information along the way. After crossing the Chao Phrya river on a ferry boat, we had stops at both Buddhist and Hindu temples as well as a Muy Thai outdoor training center where we each had a chance to throw a few punches at pads held by the instructor. Our lunch was at an air conditioned restaurant with several menu choices included. Everyone really enjoyed the food there. The ride was pleasant. The pace was slow and the course was flat. Thailand Biking is a great way to explore Thailand!

Really great cycling experience in a calm area in Bangkok - Really fun, calm and relaxing cycling tour. It was really nice to see a green and quiet part of Bangkok, and to visit temples (and to be explained how to pay respect to the Buddha in the temple), visit a local market and have a small introduction to Thai Boxing. Really friendly guide as well. We went at a really calm pace, so it is not too hot and it should be suitable for almost anyone.

Explore a greener side of Bangkok - Fun morning exploring another side of Bangkok. Had a private tour to get off the beaten path. My only suggestion is to offer flat handle bikes. The sit upright, Dutch style cruiser was very hard to control for one who is used to a "traditional" bike.
