Flexible Cruise Day Excursion with Thai Tour Guide - We had a fantastic day tour for 5 adults (extended family group) of Bangkok with Ms Aom from Thai Tour Group. Pick up from the port of Laem Chabang (2-3hrs drive away) meant it was an early start, and we also extended the tour to take in a little more of the city and avoid the worst of the notorious Thai traffic returning to the port and our ship around 8.30pm. The tour provided a great overview of the city visiting the Royal Grand Palace & Royal Temple, Reclining Buddha plus taking a private long-tail boat canal tour to the floating market sampling some delicious street food, visiting the Flower & vegetable markets and finally doing some shopping at a huge 6 story local shopping mall where we founds some great bargains. It was a super hot and humid day, so having the air conditioned van with cold water and refresher towels picking us up was a godsend. Ms Aom was a lovely guide and very flexible and we would highly recommend a tour with her!

Highlights of Bangkok Tour - Ms. Aom was an amazing tour guide for our full day tour in Bangkok. We went on a canal tour where we saw the large bronze Buddha, Thai lunch at a local restaurant she recommended, a tour of the Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha, Reclining Buddha temple and also visits to the silk and flower markets! Ms. Aom taught us the history of Thailand and explained much about Buddhism, the Kings of Thailand and the culture of the area. The excursion to the silk market was an additional stop, as I wanted to purchase some silk fabric and she was very helpful and accommodating. She was very entertaining and friendly and we learned a lot about the Thai people. We would highly recommend her for a tour in Bangkok.

Loved our Stay in Bangkok - Met Ms. Mee, our guide, at the Laem Chabang port dock. Following our long drive into Bangkok, we went immediately to the Grand Palace. It was extremely hot, but the Palace was a beautiful site to visit. My wife does not handle heat well, but Ms. Mee took excellent care of her. She also provided wonderful information pertaining to the Grand Palace. We then visited the "Reclining Buddha". Following this we had a wonderful lunch followed by the canal tour. This gave us an opportunity to witness life spent on the canals of Bangkok. As it was a long ride back to our cruise ship, we decided to head back to Laem Chabang. A delightful day in a beautiful city!!!! We also appreciate Ms. Mee and her driver for making the day special. My only complaint was the blistering hot temperatures. This, however, did not diminish the day of our visit.

Great 1 1/2 Day Tour with Ms. Pookie - We booked a day and a half of tours through Thai Tour Guide and I was very pleased. We were picked up at our ship in Laem Chabang Port and driven to Ayutthaya for a full day of touring. Then we were dropped off at our hotel in Bangkok around 6pm and picked up the next day at 8am to do a canal boat tour of Bangkok. Our guide was Ms. Pookie, and she was great. She was very informative and she really looked after us. When we went to our hotel for the night, she came in with us to make sure we got checked in ok. And when she dropped us off at our hotel the next morning she stayed with us until our taxi back to the ship arrived. I wouldn't hesitate to use Thai Tour Guide again.

Wonderful experience! - Not only was this an extremely easy and relaxed way to see Bangkok, I think it allowed us to fit 2 days of sightseeing into one day because we didn't have to find our way around, wait in lines, etc. And having an air conditioned vehicle to come back to after each visit was wonderful in the hot humid climate of Bangkok. Even though traffic was worse than expected and caused delays, neither our guide or driver tried to hurry through the sites to make up the lost time. They worked extra time to make sure our visit was great.

Fabulous 2 Day Visit to Bangkok - We had a 2 day cruise call at Laem Chabang and arranged a tour with an overnight stay in Bangkok. Unfortunately my wife didn't feel well so I ended up going myself with Ms. Joy as my guide. I visited Bangkok 25 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed renewing my acquaintance with such beautiful sights as the Grand Palace and Temples, and taking in new sights such as the Floating Market, the canals and the Train Market. Ms. Joy patiently guided me through each site and also related to me about how Thai people live, the best place to buy some small souvenirs, and introduced me to some favorite street snacks. I had a great time not only on the tour, but based on one of Ms. Joy's recommendation also getting on the Sky Train and catching the boat to Asiatique for the evening. The tour was a great way to maximize the time I had in port. The only downside was the 3 plus hour drive on the second day to get back to Laem Chabang - but that's Bangkok traffic.
