Well Crafted Itinerary, Excellent Service! - This was definitely the best experience we had in Bali. The hike going uphill was tiring, but with the view of sunrise at the top all sweat are worth it. Our hiking guide Madeh, is a local from Mount Batur. Madeh is very experienced on the hiking trail, he also helped to encourage our 2 kids, age 7 and 8, to ensure we reached the peak on time. The hike downhill was rather easy, but the distance is longe, however, the breakfast at Okuta balanced off all tiredness. I will definitely recommend Madeh to be your hiking guide. Best of all we had been assigned to an english speaking driver name Putu. He is very experience on the road condition and is able to answer to all questions. Putu also ensure that all our safety and belongings is well taken care of. If you take up this trip, I recommend that you choose Putu as your driver.

Mount Batur - The view is so amazing, the guide is friendly and so passionate with our group especially 1 of our family member has weak lung so we stopped quite a lot.

Amazing Morning! - My guide Wayan Biduawan was truly amazing. He had everything timed perfectly so we could avoid the crowds and get the best spots. He provided so much information about the volcano which h was really interesting. I would not hesitate to book a excursion with him. My driver Bobby was also amazing and provided seamless transportation. Was a beautiful morning thank you both!!

Wonderful experience - The hike was challenging but our guide JRO was so encouraging and helpful! There is also a less challenging path for inexperienced hikers. We had such a great time and I would recommend this tour. The breakfast after is amazing. Our guide took lots of photos and videos of us at the summit which we appreciated.

Total Wholesome experience - The climb was challenging but not too tough. It was a good workout and the views at the top made everything worth it. Our journey up took 2.5hrs while the way down took about 2hrs. My guide (his name is Wayan Budiawan) is super energetic and made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable. He also knew his way around the mountain which made the hike manageable. After Mt Batur, our driver agreed to take a detour to a beautiful hindu temple and even gave us a full tour of the place. His name is Putu Anton. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic Tour! Well worth the trek! - Certainly worth the early wake up! We booked this tour with less that 24 hours notice and the process could not have been any easier. Transport was organised seamlessly with a private car collecting three parties from separate accommodation. We arrived at the base of the mountain at about 4 AM and met JRO our tour guide. JRO was informative and friendly. The trek was on the difficult side. Those under 50 with a medium level of fitness will be fine, but anyone a bit older or unfit I would suggest taking the motor bike track (longer but not as steep). JRO will explain this to you. JRO did an amazing job at helping a 64 year old in our party when they needed it. Once you reach the pinnacle (which takes every part of the 2 hours) it’s well and truly worth it. The views are the best I have ever seen. It was busy at the top but JRO did a great job of finding us a quiet spot with a breath taking view. You get about an hour at the top to take photos, have tea/coffee and eat the eggs that were cooked from the heat of the volcano. The walk down is a lot easier than on the way up but does get a bit slippery on the loose gravel. We took the option to have our driver pick us up at the halfway point. Breakfast was a great surprise at the Okuta restaurant which gives you a great view of the mountain. A full cooked breakfast and coffee was provided free of charge. Tips: - this is a difficult climb, not moderate. If you are u fit ask for the easier option - ask if your driver can drop you a the halfway point - jumper is a must - take small money for the toilet - there are NO toilets on the mountain so it’s bush toilet only.

Had the best sunrise hike with JRO - We did the sunrise hike on May 20th and it was great! Neither my girlfriend or I had done anything like this and we are so glad we did. The driver pickup at 2:30 was a little tough to wake up for but our driver was there ready to take us. We showed up to the base area and were greeted by our guide (JRO). He was excellent! He was so friendly, gave us info about Mt. Batur as well as the other mountains in Bali we would see from the peak. On the way up he offered more insight into the local trees, plants and animals. At the top it seemed very crowded where everyone was setting up but our guide brought us to a pretty secluded spot where nobody had set up and then made us warm drinks, breakfast, and sat and watched the sunrise with us. 10/10 I would recommend. We did not do the breakfast in the restaurant and after seeing the restaurant we are a little bummed we didn’t because it was beautiful and overlooked lake batur. I highly recommend this company, our guide JRO and all the services they offer for the Mt. Batur sunrise hike.

Highly Recommend, Highlight of our Honeymoon so far! - We had a great trek up Mt Batur! Our guide was fantastic, the walk wasn't difficult but he was very conscious that it was steep and wanted to make sure we had plenty of opportunity for rest. We didn't see the sunrise unfortunately due to dense cloud but we didn't mind, it couldn't be helped although our guide was very apologetic! On the way down, he made sure we stopped at plenty of vistas and became our photographer, which was lovely. Couldn't recommend him enough! The breakfast spot was insane, genuinely the best breakfast I've ever had and the view of the volcano behind can't be beaten! Our driver Putu was great too, we got talking about local produce and coffee and he took us on a detour to a local coffee and produce plantation where we got a tour and got to see the process of making Arabica and Luwak coffee, and we got to taste it all too.

Beutiful sunrise from mount Batur - This was a very nice tour. Its a bit tiring to start hiking in the middle of the night, but it was all worth it. Our driver Kadek picked us up, and made sure that we had a comfortabel drive to and from the trekking place. When arrived, our guide JRO took over, and guided us all the way up to mount Batur and took beautiful sunrise pictures of us. He was calm and nice to hikig with. We were happy we chose this tour, and would highy recommend to choose this tour.
