- El Born - The tour starts around twilight so the starting time varies during the year, earlier in the winter (7pm) and later in the summer (9pm). Although some of Barcelona’s legends might be included, please note that this is not a Ghost Tour but an historical walk focused on the more gruesome part of the city’s past.

Barcelona’s dark legends
The walk starts from Arc de Triomf and it ends at El Born CC, next to a safe area with plenty of restaurants, metro stations and taxi stops. Please ask your guide for directions and recommendations, if needed.
For quality purposes and extra interaction with the guide, the number of participants is limited to 15 per group so it is strongly recommended to book early.
Because of the content, this tour is not recommended for children younger than 14.

Great experience! - Our guide was wonderful and full of personality and could tell the story of Barcelona beautifully. She made it fun and magical. We would never have seen that part of town or had known any of that information. She was lovely.

Worth staying up at night - Our tour guide, Annemarie, was great! She was engaging and energetic. Her use of props and the preparations she made for the tour were above and beyond. Very knowledgeable about the history of the city. It is quite a bit of walking so be prepared.

A tour you MUST do - This was SUCH a fun tour! Anne Marie was spectacular. Although we do hangout around areas of gothic history, its not a sight seeing tour which is important to know. I thought I would be disappointed when hearing that, but on the contrary. This tour was more interesting and fun than most history tours I’ve ever been on. Anne Marie brings a pocket projector of photos and paintings, gets us involved it was truly an experience. If you’ve enjoyed going to medieval torture museums or learning about the Salem which trials, this is a full enrichment of that style of history, the social culture of that time , and spooky tales :)

Fun Way to See the Gothic Quarter! - What an interesting and mildly horrifying tour! Our guide was engaging and funny, despite the gruesome topics. We learned a lot about the Spanish Inquisition, as well as other interesting dark stories that took place in Barcelona in the past. Walking around the Gothic Quarter was fun and interesting, and our guide shared some good tips on places to come back to the following day.

Highly recommend this tour - This tour is fantastic, and was one of the highlights of our trip. Sara was a wonderful guide and had all sorts of interesting information for us. We both learned about the history of the city, some of its dark past, and got a feel for the old city.
