Experience the captivating Montserrat Natural Park and Monastery. From the breathtaking 360° vistas at St Miquel’s Cross, we’ll speculate what creatures and figures the spherical rocks resemble. Explore the lush Mediterranean greenery, filled with thick oak forests, boxwood shrubs, and fragrant herbs flourishing in open fields. With wild rosemary, thyme, and lavender lining the trails, our senses will be delighted. If we’re fortunate, we might even spot Montserrat’s iconic wild goat nimbly navigating precarious cliffs. We’ll also look out for other indications of the local wildlife. Participants will be treated to seasonal fruit at Pla de Tarántulas. From there, we head onto a mountain track and traverse a quaint creek as we gently meander down the main valley back to the Monastery. We’ll cap off the journey with a visit to the church to see Saint Mary and sample some locally made cheese and fig bread.
