TRIP OVERVIEW

After a short 50-minute journey from Barcelona, we first explore the Benedictine Monastery, which traces its origins back to the 11th century and houses Catalonia’s Patron Saint, The Black Madonna - a powerful emblem of spirituality and unity for the Catalonians.

Upon visiting the Monastery, we explore the local farmer’s market, filled with regional products before our transition to the ranch.

At the ranch, partake in a memorable horseback experience amidst the breathtaking countryside of the Montserrat’s National Park. We embark on a trail alongside three Romanesque hermitages, totally mesmerized by the unique and striking jagged mountain landscape.

Before our journey back to Barcelona, ample time is allocated for relaxation at the ranch, allowing you to soak in the serene ambiance of nature.

A special and very different Sunday - I had never visited Montserrat and the Monastery, and it has been beautiful, together with our guide Jordi. The horseback ride, wonderful and very memorable. They are very good and are very well trained. Furthermore, they take care of them with a lot of love.

Jordi was our driver and... - Jordi was our driver and guide at the monastery. He was supper friendly and knowledgeable about the geology of the area and the monastery. The horseback ride was fun but a short stop at the turn around point for a few pictures would have been nice.

Incredible Experience! - Frank was absolutely wonderful! We loved our tour! Was an excellent balance of exploring a bit but also getting a nice amount of information and guidance. The cable car up then hike down was a perfect amount of exercise that we still got to take in incredible views but weren’t left sweating buckets after haha! Would highly recommend this! The pick up and drop off was super nice too!
