- We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines
- All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security
- As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.
- Please, be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure time
- Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.

Excellent tour guide - Great experience with this tour. Booking the tickets online and finding the agency in Barcelona was very straightforward. Our guide, Martin, was very knowledgeable about Sagrada Familia and seemed very passionate about his job. During the tour, he transported us in history with vivid details about the beginnings of the basilica, all the details about the construction and the architects that took part in the project. Martin really seemed to care about helping us make the most our visit, replying to all our questions and encouraging us to continue visiting the church on our own after the tour. Even if the Sagrada Familia was packed with tourists, he managed to make the visit enjoyable and special. Thank you, Martin!

Great work of art - Prior to booking, I read all of the reviews about the ticket office being hard to find. Well, asking 3 different people for directions, we found it. It is on the backside of the church and diagonal from a McDonald's on the corner.
Not enough to take away from this magnificent piece of art and church. Words can't describe it.
I opted for a guided tour. Elisabeth, I believe, was her name. She spoke English and took time to address questions in other languages. She was very knowledgeable and took her time with us. We were given headsets and headphones so we could hear only her.
You really need a guide. There is no way you could grasp the importance and nuances of this place without a trained guide. From start to finish, maybe 1 hour and 15 minutes, but you are free to stay on your own.
Don't hesitate to book as they fill up fast.

Necessary to visiting Sagrada Familia - The Sagrada Familia is very crowded and full of people talking. So, it was great to have a group tour equipped with audio assistance (you got a transmitted and headphones and the tour guide would speak quietly and you could hear her through the headphones). Your guide was funny, knowledgeable, and enthusiastically showed us all her favorite details. She seemed genuinely excited to introduce us to the place she must talk about 5 times a day.

Fast track Sagrada Famiglia guided tour - We had a mishap with our alloted time and missed it but girl in Julia's tour helpful and phoned the guide to let us in and rushed round and found him waiting at entrance. Once in the guide Mark was very knowledgeable and took the tour at a good pace as inside was very very busy.An enjoyable tour.

Beautiful cathedral - Beautiful cathedral and well organised tour. We got the chance to take some great pictures inside.
The only thing here to keep in mind is to pick up the tickets in advance of the tour start, from the designated venue.

None of the daily options apply. Father daughter trip. - Fast entry into the fabulous Sagrada Familia. Guide was good but a tad hard to follow physically through the space. Very knowledgeable guide but a bid dry. Overall very happy we did this tour.

Just okay - I’d recommend trying to book a tour in only your language. These tours are expensive and you should get 100% of the guide’s attention. I get distracted when they’re going back and forth in languages. It’s hard to keep up!

Sagrada familia tour - Sagrada Familia is very impressive, but you don’t need a tour to go see this. Tour guide didn’t seem to enjoy her job and the tour wasn’t of much value. Go see it by yourself.

La Sagrada is Beautiful - It is a very smart plan to book an excursion fo see the inside of the La Sagrada Familia to avoid a long wait. And YES it is Beautiful to see the inside of La Sagrada Familia. We had booked an English - Monolingual tour. And of course the single language tours are not offered frequently. Our time was last of last of day. It was a very large group. The tour guide did not let us know until we had walked from the meeting site (Julia Travels) to the church that she did not speak English well but she had been "forced to do this tour" She did her best. But her English was very much FRENCH and she struggled to find the words she needed. This made it nearly impossible to know what we were seeing, history, etc. Afterward Julia travels refused to give us a refund, they blamed Viator. So be very carelful about the details (language of tour). We have talked to Viator and we will know in a few daays if they are refunding the cost of this tour. So again when something goes wrong speak up nicely and likely Viator will make it right!!! And be prepared for the bumps that occur with travel. Dont' be an angry traveler!!

Don’t waste your money… - This was a waste of money and very disorganized. There was absolutely no added value on this tour. We couldn’t hear a word that the tour leader said. Other groups had headsets. That would have made a huge difference! We really have no idea what we paid for. Sadly, a big disappointment.
