Explore the city and unravel its secrets with a local guide! Situated in Puglia, Bari is home to the Basilica of San Nicola, a prime symbol of Apulian Romanesque architecture. This sacred site is one of the world’s most revered places, where Catholic and Orthodox traditions unite. Your tour will encompass the old city (featuring the fish market, Ferrarese and Mercantile squares, the Ancient wall ‘la Muraglia’, the Basilica of Saint Nicholaus, the Cathedral, the Norman-Swabian Castle, and a stroll through the ‘pasta’ street’).
We’ll pause in the heart of the old town at Arco delle Meraviglie, for a taste of “focaccia “ from a well-known, historic bakery in Bari.
Kindly remember this is a walking tour. If you select the pick-up service from the port of Bari, we’ll set off together to the old town on foot.
