From there we will change things up and hop into the Tuk Tuk, (a motorcycle taxi known informally as a “MotoTaxi” in Spanish) that will provide a fun perspective of the city. We then travel along a coastal road stopping for great panoramic views of Lima and the Pacific Ocean. Seeing such beautiful sights will definitely give you an appetite, and you will be ready for a mind-blowing Peruvian lunch in one of the local’s favorite eating spots. After your delicious feast, we’ll take a walking tour of Barranco. Great experience! - What a great tour! Arturo shared a lot of interesting information both about food and Peru, we really appreciated his expertise. Lunch was at a restaurant we never would have found on our own, the dishes were delicious and plentiful. The bus and the tuk tuk were both a fun adventure. I can't recommend this tour enough.

Excellent way to get to know Peru - Our guide Arturo did an amazing job helping us to understand the Peruvian way of dining. The boys enjoyed touring around in the Tuk Tuks and seeing parts of Lima we hadn't discovered yet. Arturo took us for lunch at a local spot that wasn't a tourist spot to enjoy an authentic Peruvian meal. On top of teaching us about dining in Lima he also offered advice for when we moved on to Cusco and the higher altitudes there. Was a great way to start off our Peruvian adventure and helped make the rest of the trip better by knowing where to go and what to eat.

Absolute blast - This was our first time in Lima, and being from South America we already knew peruvian food, but we felt it'd be a good start for our trip if we took an introductory tour. Didn't really know exactly what to expect when it came to the tour itself, but we were more than pleased with the whole experience. Arturo (our guide) was very punctual, and an absolute delight to tour with. He spoke portuguese very well and language was far from being a barrier to us. He was not only a great tour guide, with a lot of information and insights, but also an overall great company, and very nice guy to have around. The tour itself was super fun and a very comprehensive take on Lima and Peru. The tuk-tuk is an every-day mean of transportation for the people in Lima, and it felt like a very authentic experience to roll around through Chorrillos in one. The food was amazing, the restaurant we were taken to - again - felt very authentic and we could see absolutely no tourists around. We had causa, ceviche and a serve of makis covered in rocoto that were to die for. All of that accompanied by a jar of very nice (the best we had in Lima) Chicha Morada. I tried very hard to think of any criticism or improvement points, but failed to do so. This is a must do while in Lima. Helpful tips: the meal was very generous, so have a light breakfast on the day of the tour. Remember to bring water so you don't have to stop to get it, the tour is long. Bring some money for tips, there's a chance you'll find the Fraile taking his leap, and that guys deserves some money. Be generous when tiping! It's a hell of a work done by the tour guides, they deserve it!

See above. - Amazing experience for our first day in Lima. Cesar, our tour guide, gave us more than a food tour but a tour of the full culture of the city. He went above and beyond to make this tour personable and fun. The food was absolutely incredible and I absolutely recommend this tour!

Best way to experience Lima - After visiting Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley and the Amazon, our group (my wife and I and another couple) had a few days to spend in Lima before returning home. Fortunately we discovered Lima Tasty Tours. We were able to experience the highlights of Lima and many off the beaten track places while also eating incredibly delicious Peruvian food. Not only did we learn a lot but we were treated with utmost hospitality. Highly recommend for those who love food and like an authentic experience.
