PASTA CLASS: we will start the journey knowing the lifestyle of the Sardinians and the activity of domestic work. In the “stazzo” of the family, we will knead water and semolina and give shape to 2 types of ancient pasta. I will tell you old anecdotes, and I will relax your mind. When the head is well, the body is fine. This is the first stage of longevity.

THE WINE: we know the wine of “eternal youth”. We will move to the village to go to the small wine cellar to learn about our wine and its processing phases with ancient method, You will feel the scents, you will taste the flavor and admire its colors. This is the second stage of longevity.
LUNCH or DINNER: a healthy and long life. What do Sardinians eat? A dinner with several courses will take you to the first stage of longevity. I will conquer your palates with flavors of Arimani, “yesterday”, the food of my ancestors, the products of one of the oldest lands in the world and among the many dishes, one in particular will surprise and excite you, leaving you the memory of a magical holiday in the land of nuraghi, crystal clear sea and ancient traditions.

Additional Information

With Arimani’s culinary and vinous experiences, I aim to unveil the secrets to long life in Sardinia by guiding you through three primary facets of Sardinian culture: lifestyle, wine, and food.

I will show you how to prepare the traditional pasta from my territory, as we share stories, feelings, impressions, and history. From doughs made with organic flours and semolina to the most diverse and age-old types of pasta, bread, and desserts, we’ll work with traditional tools. You will have a taste of the diet of the centenarians and savor the wine symbolizing everlasting youth.

Arimani’s experiences offer a journey back in time, a plunge into history in one of the world’s oldest lands. Sardinia isn’t just about the sea, spit-roasted suckling pig, and carasau bread. You’ll have a chance to explore some of the world’s most unique and scarce commodities. I eagerly await your visit to my world to experience life as Arimani, today, as in the past.

Loved my class and learning about her family - The Pasta class and learning the history of Sinonetta village was so nice! We handmade so many different pastas and her old beautiful family home is inviting and warm cozy. She sent up a beautiful table at night for us to share our meal with home made wine and cheeses and bread and the pasta we made. It was a beautiful evening with a nice group of people. I highly recommend Mille Grazie Bella!

The instructor was knowledgeable and patient, ensuring everyone mastered the techniques. The ingredients were fresh, and the recipes were both traditional and innovative. It was wonderful to create delicious pasta from scratch and share the meal with fellow participants. The atmosphere was friendly and fun, making it a perfect activity for food lovers. I left with new skills, great memories, and a passion for pasta-making. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking to elevate their culinary skills!

Simonetta was the real... - Simonetta was the real deal. Full of life and compassionate about her culture, island and traditions. Her passion for pasta was evident the second we met her. She invites you into her beautiful villa and shared so many memorable stories growing up cooking. We made three pastas. Had a wonderful pasta lunch with wine and deserts. Plenty of wine and homemade limoncello. Thank you Simonetta for a beautiful day.

My heart is full (and so is my stomach) - Simonetta welcomes us into her family’s multigenerational (historic) Sardinian home and taught us not only how to make pasta, but the path to longevity of the Sardinian people. The food and wine were delicious and overall the whole experience was pure magic. She was so gracious in explaining everything to us and showing us around. An unbeatable experience worth every penny.

Amazing class that teaches a lot! - The pasta class was so much fun. Our host is such a lovely woman who can speak English very well. Any and all questions were answered, including recommendations on anything else in Sardinia as well. The food was absolutely delicious and I would love to do it all again.

Great experience. Overpriced though. Hoped to be more hands on - Simonetta was very sweet. You can feel her passion for cooking/making pasta. She tied in the secrets to longevity as mentioned in her description. We truly enjoyed the whole experience. I gave the it 4 stars though because we hoped to do more, such as learn how to make the pasta sauce as well and basically cook our entire dish from start to finish. Instead, we spent half the time just making the pasta. It seemed overpriced for the little we did. We also hoped for wine tasting, but rather she provided us with a bottle of wine for the table while we ate lunch. We loved being in the peaceful countryside. I would still recommend this experience!

You don’t learn how to make sauces - You learn how to make pasta but you don’t learn how to cook it and what sauces to use. I was disappointed in that. She did give us a bag of flour and a tool to make pasta with. The host was kind of low energy too.
