- Batu Caves - Nestled in a limestone hill, Batu Caves is a captivating cave temple. It features three large caves, with the main cave housing intricate Hindu shrines. A key attraction is the climb up 272 steps to reach the temple.
- Petronas Twin Towers - Standing at 451.9 meters, the stunning Petronas Twin Towers are a globally recognized symbol of modern Malaysia. They are the centerpiece of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) development, which includes landmarks like the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Suria KLCC shopping mall, luxury hotels, a mosque, and the beautifully landscaped KLCC Park. Visitors can explore the Skybridge on the 41st floor and the Viewing Deck on the 86th floor.
- Menara Kuala Lumpur - Rising majestically from Bukit Nanas at 421 meters and 94 meters above sea level, KL Tower is a notable feature of the city’s skyline. Its design reflects Malaysia’s Islamic heritage, with architectural details including Arabic scripts, Islamic tiles, classic floral and abstract motifs, and calming color schemes.
- Istana Negara - Istana Negara, or the National Palace, is the official residence of the King of Malaysia. This grand structure on Jalan Duta became the National Palace in November 2011, replacing the old palace on Jalan Istana. It boasts 22 domes, with the largest reaching 40 meters in height. Note: Visits are limited to the exterior.
- National Mosque (Masjid Negara) - Masjid Negara is one of the city’s most prominent landmarks, featuring a unique star-shaped dome and a 73-meter high minaret. Located near the KL Lake Gardens, visitors are advised to dress modestly, and women are required to wear headscarves.
- Royal Selangor Visitor Centre - Established in 1885, Royal Selangor is the leading name in high-quality pewter, known for its design and craftsmanship. Skilled artisans transform this versatile alloy of tin, copper, and antimony into a wide range of homeware and gifts, available in over 20 countries. The Centre’s giant tankard, recognized by Guinness World Records as the largest, offers a perfect photo opportunity.
- National Monument - The National Monument honors those who sacrificed their lives for peace and freedom, especially during the nation’s fight against communism. The grounds feature one of the world’s largest free-standing bronze sculptures, created in 1966 by Felix de Weldon, who also sculpted the famous Iwo Jima monument in Washington, DC.
- Sultan Abdul Samad Building - Located in front of Dataran Merdeka, the iconic Sultan Abdul Samad building houses the Supreme and High Courts. Known for its unique Moorish design and clock tower, it is a popular photo spot for visitors.
- Merdeka Square - Situated opposite the Sultan Abdul Samad Building and next to the Royal Selangor Club, Merdeka Square is where the Union Flag was lowered, and the Malayan flag was raised for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957. It has since been the site of the annual Merdeka Parade.
- Malayan Railway Administration Building - This beautiful old building, known for its Moorish architecture, is one of Malaysia’s most stunning historical structures.
- Sri Maha Mariamman Temple - The oldest Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur, Sri Mahamariamman Temple, was founded in 1873 and is located at the edge of Chinatown on Jalan Bandar (formerly High Street). In 1968, a new structure featuring the ornate ‘Raja Gopuram’ tower, typical of South Indian temples, was built.
- Thean Hou Temple - Thean Hou Temple, dedicated to the Chinese sea goddess Mazu, is a six-tiered temple located on 1.67 acres atop Robson Heights, overlooking Jalan Syed Putra. Completed in 1987 and officially opened in 1989, it was built by the Hainanese community in Malaysia and is one of Southeast Asia’s largest temples.
- Little India Brickfields - Brickfields became the center of brick-making in the late 19th century after a fire and flood devastated Kuala Lumpur in 1881. The disasters destroyed the town’s wooden and thatched buildings, prompting Sir Frank Swettenham, the British Resident at the time, to mandate the use of brick and tile in construction, giving the town its purpose.
- The River of Life - The River of Life is a notable attraction in Kuala Lumpur, located near the city’s oldest mosque, Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad. It is the meeting point of the Klang and Gombak rivers.
- East Coast Batik Sdn Bhd (Batik CHONG) - Established in 1974, East Coast Batik (formerly Syarikat East Coast) is one of the oldest batik and handicraft centers in Klang Valley. Located in the Gombak district near Batu Caves, the gallery offers a comprehensive experience in Malaysian batik and handicrafts.
- Kuala Lumpur City Gallery - Founded in 1989, KL City Gallery occupies a building that has served various purposes, including as a printing office, the Ministry of Labour, and the Postal Authorities. It features two floors of exhibition space, a cafe, a museum shop, and serves as a tourist information center.
- KLCC Park - KLCC Park is an urban park in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, designed to provide greenery to the Petronas Twin Towers and the surrounding area.

Perfect tour for a long layover!! - We had a 13+ hr layover in KL & decided to book this one to take a quick glimpse of the city. We were received and dropped from & to airport on time. Our driver/guide Mr Richard was extremely professional and knowledgable. He went above and beyond the written itinerary to make sure we visited as many places as we could in oir limited time. He also guided us with some really good trivia and hostory about all the places. Really want to appreciate him & the booking agency for a really memorable tour.

Memorable - Truthfully - Richard my driver made the 8 hrs so memorable and so much better! He went above and beyond! I had booked 4 hrs initially for KL city tour and when I mentiioned I had extra time - Richard suggested a few more ideas! The Batu Caves visit if you are in KL is a must I think! I felt that I was being shown all the sites by a friend rather than a driver - which made my whole experience 10 times better! Such a great day - and into the nught - tour. So much to see! I hope Richard's employer realises how exceptional he is and that he is definitely a keeper!! Thank you Ricgard for a showing me all the great sites and making it so memorable!

Richard was a very... - Richard was a very helpful guide. We were able to see the main spots of Kuala Lumpur in our short visit to the city and we really loved it. Just make sure to have enough time because the traffic could be sometimes a little messy.
