Great adventure - We had a great time holding sloths and monkeys. The guide we had made sure that everyone got to hold each animal and got a good picture. We then went to snorkel at a reef and saw an array of fish and coral. Our guide then took us to get lunch at a local place. My only recommendation would be to request a restaurant where you can see the ocean. We ended up at a restaurant without a view, being in such a beautiful island I would have preferred to see the sea.

Great for families! - Mr. Anderson was very active and visible in getting us where we need to go. The animal experience was hands on, but I think we would have also enjoyed going to the big animal park . The beach we went to was clean, had great food, and lots of shops and activities. The driver Leonard waited for us to be ready to head back, which was wonderful!

Another Great Viator Shore Excursion. - My wife loved the Sloth/Monkey/bird adventure and I had a great time snorkeling over the huge reef. Our snorkeling guide took us to a perfect location and swam with us showing us quite a view. Our tour guide for the island tour was Allen and he was very informative. This is our fifth tour with Viator and they have all been outstanding.

Loved it!!! - Amazing!!! Anthony was very kind and patient. We got to see the chocolate factory, Rum factory, in both, we could eat samples and even buy products as a souvenir. We also stopped at local shops. Our time with the sloths, parrots and monkey was amazing!!!! The group could get adorable photos. We felt like we had our own private van and Anthony made the ride ver enjoyable. He brought us to the beach for an amazing snorkeling experience too. A guide was in the water with you, so you feel safe and comfortable. After the snorkeling, you stay at the beach all the time you want. Anthony never rushed us and was very attentive if we needed something. I even had braids done at the beach. Really amazing experience and at an unbeatable price!!

Memorable first trip to Roatan - Leonard took my wife and me to see parrots, monkeys, and sloths and then to do snorkeling. He then waited while we rented a jet ski while at the same beach. Leonard provided information about Roatan while he escorted us around. He was waiting for us when we got off our cruise ship and he allowed us to do our excursion at our own pace. We ended the day with a delicious lunch. It was a great way to spend our first day in Roatan. I highly recommend Anderson Tours and Leonard!

Great tour! Loved the animals and the snokeling. - The tour was great! Our driver was very nice helpful and knowledgeable. I enjoyed seeing the sloth and the monkeys. The snorkeling was good but not quite long enough. We had a pretty large group so the van was very packed but our driver accommodated us as much as possible. I enjoyed the tour!

No Rum Punch - Our tour guide Alan was great - although we did have to walk in the hot weather and streets to get to the zoo - he told us it would avoid traffic - was supposed to be greeted with an air conditioned vehicle. Alan directed us to DeShawn at the Zoo - he was great with us and the animals. When we got to the snorkeling part didn't understand why we had to pay another $15 a person for a lounge chair when they didn't have enough for all 8 of us. Snorkeling was great - but after it we were supposed to get a rum punch and Alan tried to get it for us but his boss said it wasn't included although my receipt said it was. Best part was holding the monkeys and sloths.

Great interaction with animals and beautiful snorkeling - First of all, our guide, Foster, was fantastic. Super friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and just overall a great person. Our day (with 6 people in our party) didn't follow the agenda of the tour exactly, but Foster was flexible enough to incorporate other stops for photos and stuff along the way when we had extra time. I will say that a few things listed in the description were not 100% accurate like a) there were no water bottles provided and b) the 'access to _____ beach club' was not the place where we went snorkeling. The place he took us snorkeling was amazing, absolutely beautiful. Another note to say that people should prepare to tip the other people along the tour. For example, the person who walked us through the sloth / monkey park, the guys who took us on the snorkeling boat.

Extra fees - TBH it was an amazing experience, nice driver and great price until we were forced to pay an additional $50 for the “beach/beach chair/shower included”… ?

Badly organized tour, hours wasted, indifferent staff - We don’t want to get anyone in trouble, so we’re not naming names. But the driver combined our tour with another tour where people were ziplining, with the result that we had to wait at least an hour in the monkey and sloth zoo parking lot for the other tourists. This appears to have been deliberately planned that way by Roatan Anderson. That was the worst part, but the whole thing was badly organized. We received no information about where to meet up when we got off the ship. It took us a while to find the right person by talking to other tour guides at the bus stop outside the port. We had emailed Roatan Anderson the night before to ask where to meet, but they did not respond, and there was no phone number for them. The driver falsely told us we had only 25 minutes at the monkey and sloth park. For the snorkeling part, the driver dumped us at a beachfront restaurant where he must have had a deal with the owners, though nobody wanted to eat there. And we had to wait there another 45 minutes. We received no instructions at all on snorkeling, and the boat pilot was inattentive when people were in the water, unless directly asked for help. As things stand, we would definitely not use Viator again, and would recommend against anyone else using it.
