Best tour of main Beijing sights - Lisa and a driver met me at my hotel in the morning, and we spent the entire day seeing the major sights of Beijing. Lisa was extremely knowledgeable (she's been a guide for more than 20 years) and kind; by the end of the day it felt like we were friends. The sights were absolutely beautiful, you cannot visit Beijing without seeing the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven. Even though there were many other tourists, Lisa found some private spots for great photo ops. Lunch was at a hidden, local spot with delicious food. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Beijing!

Perfect tours with Catherine Lu Tours! - This was our second tour with Catherine Lu Tours. Catherine organized our tours very professionally and promptly. Excellent service, everything went smoothly and efficiently. Both tours were absolutely amazing. Jenna our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable, we learnt so much about Chinese culture and history. We really loved spending the 2 days with her. Great private transportation too! Very good drivers! Lunch both days included and incredibly delicious, we got to try traditional food from Beijing which we truly enjoyed. We loved everything about our two tours and will definitely be using Catherine Lu tours for our future trips to China. Highly recommended!

A great way to see Beijing, whether time is tight or leisurely - I was totally enthralled by both the city and the experience provided by Catherine Lu Tours. My guide, Jenny, couldn't have been more personable, knowledgeable, or caring, we had a great day walking Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and Jingshan Park...in 95 degree heat! She kept encouraging me, but was always amenable to taking a break, so I was able to get through it all easily. My driver was totally respectful and skillful--we were quite a team. The restaurant she chose was magnificent! Jenny also arranged for me to see a wonderful Kung Fu show that hadn't been on the agenda but that she knew I'd enjoy, and easily changed the schedule when I got too tired. I only had one sightseeing day to spend, but when I come back and have more time on my hands, I will definitely contact Jenny and Catherine Lu Tours.

Great tour and tour guide - Sophie is a great tour guide. Our son was a little disappointed that the wait for Hutong ride was 2 hours so Sophie improvised with a tour of the bell tower. Sophie helped us order a delicious lunch. She also explained the sites and took of our family. We really appreciated that! We booked three tours with Catherine Lu and Sophie was our guide for all 3 tours. She is awesome! Our kids still talk about her.

Very good experience - This is my second trip to Beijing using Catherine Lu tours and my tour guide, Stephen. Stephen is knowledgeable in Chinese history and was able to provide us with good insight on our places of visit. He also has a good command of English and conversing with him was a breeze. He also ensured that the trip progressed smoothly and overall it was a pleasant and enjoyable experience .

One day tour to forbidden city and temple of heaven - We really happy and satisfied with the tour experience. Amanda, our tour guide is very kind, she is taking our pictures along the way and very resourceful by showing us place to rent our chinese cotume just exactly like we want. Same goes with the driver, he is so polite and kind. So far best experience with Catherine Lu tours. Very professional and responsive.

Perfect day in Beijing - Our group of nine adults and teens had a fantastic day touring Beijing with Sonia. Booking with Jenna and Catherine was so easy—they replied promptly and were very customer oriented and helpful. Sonia is funny and knowledgeable. We all loved her. Fantastic family friendly experience - This is the best tour experience we have ever had. John, our tour guide had perfect english, was very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive to the needs of my two kids (age 8 and 11) who asked some unusual questions! He ensured that the day ran at our pace (it was a private tour) and pointed out lots of interesting things that were not in the guide books. The day ran very smoothly because of the good coordination with the driver (air conditioned vehicle was great!) including a really nice lunch at a nice restaurant suitable for kids. My kids loved the rickshaw tour. I am very happy that Catherine Lu tours was recommend to me and highly recommend John and Catherine Lu tours to others. Thanks John!
