Great day out in Beijing with Michael - Fantastic experience. Michael was great fun and spoke fantastic English. The whole experience was organised very well and we really enjoyed seeing the different sights and learning about the history. This would be very difficult without a tour guide as we were able to navigate ticket queues and get fast tracked access in a place where it could be hard to communicate for non Chinese speakers

Amazing - All three attractions are must see. They depict great China history and how they preserved for future generations.

A long but very informative day - We had an excellent tour with Jenny. She shared so much history with us about Beijing and China. Jenny was very fun and helpful with any questions we asked. The Great Wall was amazing! Thank you

Great tour with Badaling great wall and forbidden city - We first wanted to go to the forbidden city ourselves, but when we looked for tickets in the morning to go to the city on the next day, everything was fully booked (even for the next 3 days after). This was the only tour available that could arrange our entree. After we got in (which was only possible with our guide), we got to buy the tickets for the city (with money provided by the tour). Without this tour we wouldn't have been able to get in! And we were very happy to do this tour because Michael, our guide, made it all the worthwhile. We got to see the two major highlights of Beijing for us, the Forbidden city and the Great Wall at Badaling, in just a short time (1 day) without being rushed! While we were at the Tiananmen Square and in the Forbidden city, we got some great background information and Michael was very knowledgeble. At the great wall we got some free time to walk up the wall at our own pace, which was nice because this hike was no joke! Take some water, sunscreen and walking shoes, because you'll need it. There is also an option to take a cable cart, but I recommend doing the hike, because the scenery was worth the climb. We also got to enjoy a delicious chinese lunch and in addition to the two highlights, we also visited a jade museum and got to experience a traditional chinese tea ceremony where we tasted 5 different teas. The latter two activities also had a shop where you could buy some jade accessoires or tea(pots) if you were up to it. It was a fully packed day (7.30AM to 6.00/7.00PM) so it was nice to have transfers both from and back to our hotels. Michael was truly a gem in all this and I would definetly recommend this tour!

So interesting with a lovely guide, Michael - Really enjoyed the day. Quite a long one and maybe there should be more warning about climbing the steps in the Great Wall - we didn't have a problem but others might.

Take a Tour with Jenny - Jenny was very knowledgeable, helpful and went went far beyond reasonable expectations as a tour guide. She made our experience of the Forbidden City, Tiannaman Square and the Great Wall an experience that we will treasure and that we would highly recommend. - Dr. James V. Smith

Below average. - I was lucky to have a private tour, as they couldn’t probably get a group. That was probably the best part of the trip. Guide’s English was below average, she gave basic information about main sights we visited and overall was speaking very basic English. At the end of the tour we got in a terrible traffic jam, driver tried to find ways to get out of it, but we ended up leaving the car and going to metro.
