VERY FRIENDLY AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS - My tour guide was Ms Lucy Yue (岳文华). She was very friendly and informative. During the experience, she was very sincere in ensuring that our needs were cared for and made adjustments to the route when necessary. As we were travelling with two elderly individuals who struggled to walk the long distance, Ms Lucy went the extra mile to ensure that they were comfortable and that there were resting areas for them. Ms Lucy also provided very interesting tidbits of information about Chinese architectures mythology and history, giving us a snippet into China’s rich heritage. In totality, I would recommend this tour to people who do not want to undertake the stress of finding your way and booking tickets. As English speakers, we couldn’t have found our way around by ourselves or understand any of the heritage and history of the place without our helpful tourguide .

Forbidden city - Fantastic tour,Jack our guide was attentive, knowledgeable and made the day interesting. The sites of the forbidden city have not to be missed. There is so much to photograph and you could spend hours just admiring the architecture and detail all around you. Only downside is the security and queuing to go through scanners and searching. But this does not take away from the whole experience.

Pricey but worth the dollars! - Booked this private tour for myself and my two daughters (ages 8 and 12). Our tour guide was Lucy Feng. I appreciated that we were able to customize the tour a bit to fit our schedule. We elected to skip Tiananmen Square as that's a public open space and if we wanted, we can go back ourselves, this allowed us to start the day a bit later. Therefore, our tour was only for the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Lucy was a great tour guide, who was attentive to our needs, especially to my 8yo. Her English was proficient, we were able to understand the history and stories related to the places we visited. The tour also included lunch and Lucy took us to a nice restaurant and we were allowed to order whatever we wanted from the menu, although the three of us really can't eat that much, so we didn't want to over order and waste food. Overall, the tour was great. Was it pricey? Yes. But we didn't want to deal with having to get admission tickets ourselves. Furthermore, having someone knowledgeable to guide us through two of the most important places in Beijing was well worth it. Also, the convenience of a private air-conditioned car transportation was great to save us from the heat and a chance for my kids to relax between the two places.

5 stars to the tour and to the guide - Absolutely recommended tours! We had the opportunity to visit the "Forbidden City" and be able to fully appreciate the history of the place thanks to the detailed explanations provided by our guide, Huang, very prepared and disposable. Then, We visited the city by bike enjoying another perspective of Beijing, feeling somehow part of the locals. In the afternoon the "Temple of Heaven" was a beautiful discovery, thanks agian to Huang who was able to explain and guide us in the local tradition. At the end of the day, our tour guide also left us with a wonderful and unexpected memory that we will take home with us and remember Beijing. 5 stars to the tour and to the guide.

The easiest way to visit the Forbidden City - This was my first time to China, and I wanted to do some of the must do major historical sites like the Forbidden City, but was also intimidated by the about logistics and communication of traveling in Beijing. This private tour with Sherry made the whole experience effortless and allowed me to focus on the seeing and learning about these cultural landmarks. I don’t think I could have navigated the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Temple of Heaven without her! Once you book the tour, they arrange all the tickets for you and easily guide you past the required security check points which can otherwise be intimidating without a guide. They also pick you up from the hotel and drive you around the city, so you don’t have to worry about transit. Our driver, Han Wei, was also very punctual and professional. Sherry was a very informative and pleasant guide whose English was clear and easy to understand. Sherry also knows her way around and saved me much time from standing in lines by knowing where to go. Overall, booking this tour was a great for some must see locations in Beijing and good way to get out of the hotel during my business travel.

Good tour guide but failure in actually having a private tour - Our guide Huang was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. However his ticket did not work at the gate of the forbidden city so we ended up doing the most important part of our tour without a private guide, which was the reason why we purchased the tour.
