You will be picked up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing, hop aboard your private, air-conditioned vehicle and relax. Of course you can choose to add a tour guide who will hike the Wall with you and explain the related histories along the way. There is no factory and shopping stops, the service is valid for 9 hours.

The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
You may have a Chinese speaking driver who knows exactly where to go. Your driver is with a phone translator. If you require an English speaking driver please add in the “special requirements”
The use of the service is 8 hours, more than 9 hours you are required to pay 15 USD for each extra hour

Great Experience - We booked a transfer to Jinshanling and had a great experience! We had to move the day of the transfer because of some bad weather, which went very smoothly. When we visited the wall there were not many people and could take some lovely photos. Our driver explained us how we could best walk and helped us with buying the tickets. Afterwards, we wanted some food and he took us to a nice restaurant and waited for us to finish. Would highly recommend!

Amazing Experience - We decided to drive to Jinshanling and had a great day. Our driver Yu Yongtai picked us up directly from the hotel and drove us to the ticket counter. We were able to communicate very well with his translation app. He was very helpful and polite. He had enough water for us with him for the journey and the way to the wall and the air conditioning made the journey very pleasant. We got a few tips from Yu Yongtai and then hiked up the wall. The view was breathtaking. The section of the wall was not crowded at all and we hiked for three hours on the restored and unrestored parts of the wall. Afterwards, Yu Yongtai drove us back to our hotel. It was a trip that we can only recommend!

Five-Star Experience with Zhang Bo - My friends and I booked this trip to Jinshanling with Zhang Bo and we had an excellent experience. Mr. Zhang met us at our hotel in central Beijing with a placard that read our names. We then drove just over two hours to the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall. Having been to another section of the Great Wall before, I am very impressed with Jinshanling. The views are fantastic and there were only a small number of other hikers. We decided to hike from Mid-Gate to East Gate and met Mr. Zhang up the road. I suggest others take note that certain sections of the wall are quite steep and strenuous. In addition, I feel the price is reasonable given the driving distance and wait time - we departed from our hotel at 8:00 AM and returned at 4:30 PM (giving us about three hours on the wall). Overall, this was a five-star experience. As a last note, I advise any foreigners leaving Beijing to Jinshanling/Simatai to bring their passport. Since the wall is outside of Beijing in Hebei province, you pass through a police checkpoint as you return to Beijing. This is easygoing, but you must produce your passport.

The best birthday I’ve ever had - William Kuang was the best guide we could have asked for, me made sure we had a great time while hiking and also took some stunning pictures of us. Really recommend doing the tour with him. It was my birthday and it was 100% worth the visit.

Best experience in Beijing - Everything was perfect. Our driver, Zhao Jinfu, was very puntual and attentive. His English wasn't perfect but he translate everything we needed yo know (and we didn't book the tour with a guide, just transport). He provided water and snaks, too; and even offered to come up to the Wall with us. Jinshanling is the best part of the Wall that I've seen and it was not crowded at all.

Safe and quick drive to Simatai - Zhang Bo was an excellent driver. I felt very safe and comfortable with him. He offered me water during the drive. Picked me up in the hotel lobby and was waiting for me on the arranged spot at Gubei water town. Although Zhang Bo only knows a few words in English, communication was very easy with the translator app and just our face expressions :) Five stars well deserved!

Fantastic Experience to Jinshanling Great Wall with private driver - Our driver Tian Wei 田伟师傅 was so helpful! He got to our hotel lobby earlier than the expected pickup time. His car had adjustable reclining chairs with leg rests, along with bottles of water and coke. He was even had cherries and bananas too which was really impressive! His driving was so smooth too. Tian Wei was a great help in getting our tickets smoothly! Before the hike started, he took out two ice cold water bottles from a cooler in his car which we were extremely thankful for during the hike. He even offered to bring us to an affordable quaint lunch spot for some food after our Jinshanling Great Wall. A fantastic experience and I felt very welcomed and safe throughout!

The best Great Wall is the Jinshanling Great Wall - Wonderful. This is the best boss that makes you say, "This is exactly what I came here to see." It took just under three hours from Beijing, but our driver, Zhang Jian, made the trip enjoyable. The time spent on site is about four hours, but this is enough time to look around. It took about 2.5 hours from going up on the ropeway to walking down to the right end.

Excelent spot, less crowded. - Or driver, 张建我 (Zhang Jianwo) was amazing. He picked us up from our hotel and drive us safe to simatai. Our trip was transport only, but he put us an audio to explain the history of simatai and walked with us all the way to Gubei. The place was so nice we decided to stay more time and he waited for us. The trip includes 9 hours, it takes 2 hours to get there and 2 back, and 5 hours there is not enough. Consider staying more time up front. Overall the trip and service was excelent!!
