Beijing during first snow this winter - We had a great time in Beijing on 14th of December. Originally, we were supposed to go to the Great Wall but due to the first snow this winter, the great wall was closed. The provider proposed us to change this point of the itinerary to Summer palace or a temple of heaven. Our guide, Lisa, was really informative and told us interesting stories about everyday life in China. She adjusted the plan based on our requests and so we were able to go to the Tea House and to order traditional dishes for Beijing, that she recommended to us. The company provided us also with warm coats and we had a driver that transported us between different places. The pickup and drop off time was adjusted to our flight schedule. We really enjoyed the trip and can recommend it to everyone who want to have a layover trip in Beijing.

AWESOME! A must-do tour, perfectly organised. - What a tour! Perfectly organised, very comfy car, very good driver and the best - the guide! Mrs Nina was absolutely professional. I can freely say she was an ambassador of Chinese hospitality! Whole tour went according to the initial plan. Absolutely a pleasant day!

Long layover=interesting short tour. - We had a long stopover (Beijing airport, 7AM-middnight). We were travelling with teenagers 13, 15 and 17 y.o. We expected that our children would be tired after a long trip and therefore asked to remove "City-Hutong". The day was packed with activities. Some travelers prefer this option, while others would prefer "not to rush". So, you can discuss possible options in advance. We were travelling in January, it was a bit chilly (around zero and some wind), but we were coming from a place, which was even colder (minus 25), so, it was ok. Besides, there were not as many people as you would expect in summer. So, winter tours have their advantages. Both, the Great Wall and Forbidden city are very interesting attractions, but it is hard to appreciate these places without a guide (unless you read a lot before coming, but this is not the case for most tourists). Finally, some words about the hosts. The driver was very professional. It is very hard to drive in Beijing, but he did a great job. The guide speaks English very well, he provided a lot of useful information, answered all the questions, arranged all tickets, places to eat, etc. We were provided with very clear instructions on how to get our of the airport (visa free option). Everything was running smoothly. Can't think about possible improvements. Do not hesitate, enjoy the tour!!!!!!

Great experience - Great experience if you have some spare time at the airport. We decided to book this because we had a long layover and we wanted to visit the city. Our guide, Lisa, was amazing. She explained us everything and gave us recommendations.

Perfect Day in Beijing - We had a 20 hour layover in Beijing and Lisa made sure we saw as much as possible of Beijing in one day. Her recommendations on food or photo spots were great and she was very helpful with taking pictures and translating to waitresses or other people. She took care of buying all tickets in advance. We would absolutely recommend this tour if you only have one day in Beijing.

a short tour to the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and Hutong - Touring this route, we experienced the majestic Great Wall and the Forbidden City scenery, tasted the characteristic Beijing snacks in the hutong as well. Hutong and the Forbidden City have a long history, but their architectural styles are quite different, and the Great Wall is also magnificent. This route is a good layover choice. We have experienced the must-see scenic spots in Beijing in a short time.

Great Wall and Tiananmen Square layover trip - We did 2 trips with them, on our way to and back from France on the layovers. The car provided was very nice and clean. Herbie is a very knowledgeable guide who made the trips more fun, he’s a great photographer as well. He knows the areas very well, took us to a very nice restaurant for dinner. Overall the experience was very nice. The person I contacted to set up the trips did not know the exact time of the Great Wall closure though. I googled to find out that Great Wall closes down early in February when we went, but he suggested it will stay open later than that. Later we went and found that it closes down early. But luckily it didn’t matter for our experience. So do your own research to be on the safe side.
