- Our earliest pick-up time is 6:30am. You will need 1.5-2 hours to be get out of customs after your flight arrives. You shall go back in airport at least 1.5-2 hours before the flight departure.

Super easy layover tour with a great tour guide! - The tour was super effective and we got to see everything we expected, the Great Wall and old Beijing.
Our tour guide Lisa was amazing and she picked us up at the airport according to agreement, with a private nice and clean car, and a very experienced driver.
I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who has a long layover in Beijing!

Amazing tour- can only recommend!! Herbie is amazing :) - Amazing tour! Herbie was an awesome tour guide and gave me lots of information about China and Chinas History!
It is definitely worth seeing the great wall! Quite impressing and beautiful! Herbie had loads of facts and you are lucky with his photograph skills :D!
Apart from that it is super easy as you get picked up from the airport and they drop you off again!
I had a lot of fun! Would definitely do it again!

Great Wall and Hutongs tour - The trip was wonderful and I would highly recommend it if you are ever in Beijing. Firstly we met Lisa at the airport and she helped us exchange some money. The journey to the Great Wall was quicker than expected. The experience on the wall was great, especially that we had some time to explore it on our own. The Hutongs tour was also great, Lisa showed us great places to eat locally (especially Peking duck). I highly recommend the tour, especially if you don't have much time in the city. There were a few situations where without a Chinese-speaking guide we would have lost a lot of time or not even arrived at the desired destinations.

Well organised, very nice guide - The company was really helpful with the planning, and also giving tips for the permit. The tour was very well organised, and we had a very nice tour guide in Herbie. He was not just helpful, but also a good company and very informative about the Wall and China itself, from ancient history to present. The walls as good as it gets, and some parts we had it only for ourselves. Herbie also showed us a local restaurant where we had a delicious dinner.
We could not have wished for a better closing to our holiday.

Great way to see Beijing highlights on a layover - We had a great layover tour with Lisa!
There are a lot of companies offering similar services but after much research we decided to go with this company. We are really glad that we did. The company was very professional and Daniel was fantastic. Any question we had for Daniel was responded to properly by email (within minutes!). We also were given clear instructions about how to get the 24 hour visa which was useful.
The tour itself is excellent, we are so glad we did it! It was great going on a private tour as it meant we could dictate the time and activities. Lisa was great at providing historical information and was also very kind. We absolutely loved the Great Wall (how could you not? Mesmerising) and the toboggan down the mountain was great. I also made use of their complimentary winter jacket which was great, I was very warm.
Unexpectedly we also really enjoyed exploring Hutong after. We were very keen to try some street food before our flight and Lisa made this happen! Lisa was great at explaining the food and taking us to great noodles and dumplings. Delicious! The area is lively and it was fun seeing the nightlife.
We would have loved to have time for the Forbidden City - next time!

Book your layover tour! Great experience - The layover tour was great - we had an amazing time and really made the most out of the layover!
Our tour guide Herbie was great - definitely ask for him if you have the chance to. He speaks very good English, is very knowledgeable and easygoing with a great sense of humor. The driver Mrs Chen was kind and the car super clean.
We can highly recommend it!

Great layover experience - highly recommended - I had a great day with Herbie from Beijing Layover Tour. I was picked up at the airport at 2 PM and we headed straight to the Mutianyu Great Wall, which took about one hour. Arriving there relatively late and being low season it was very quiet. We were lucky with the weather and the light was beautiful so I took lots of pictures. I learned a lot from Herbie about the history of the wall, and he knew the good spots for taking pictures. Afterwards we went to old town Beijing, where we explored some hutongs and had a very good dinner in a restaurant frequented by locals. This tour is highly recommended!

Great experience, perfect organization. - Perfect preparatory work. Daniel explained each step carefully. It was really easy with his guidance (and it's not so easy, so it's definitely better to have his support).
The tour was well organized. We visited the Great Wall in the spot where there were almost no other tourists - a real private tour. Later, we visited real old town Beijing living quarters and had delicious dinner in one of the restaurants for local people - great experience. We came back on time to the airport. It was all smooth and pleasant. Very comfortable car. Thanks.

Incredible way to see top tourist sites - What an amazing experience. We had an 11hr layover in Beijing and this tour was go, go, go from the moment Herbie and Mr Lee (the driver) picked us up from the airport. Herbie’s English was exceptional, his knowledge and engagement were fantastic and he managed to capture the interest and attention of our 3 kids (17, 15 and 10) for the entire tour. He took some really memorable photos and videos for us too. Couldn’t recommend this tour, or Herbie, more.
It was my Husband’s birthday and Herbie even arranged an authentic Chinese birthday meal for us, which he joined us for.
We are a fairly fit family but found the walking up and down the wall hard work. I would suggest catching the cable car up (extra A$20 each) as you are up the top in no time. We walked back down and our legs were jelly by the time we got to the car. So thankful we didn’t walk up too!
Huatongs area very interesting, and only drove past the Forbidden City as it was closed. Herbie also took us past Tiananmen Square which was interesting to see.
Great instructions for the 144/24 Transit visa provided by the Tour people. As a guide, it seems that if you have a layover of less than 10hrs you won’t be approved to transit by Customs officials.
Loved, loved, loved this tour, will be back again to do the Forbidden City as a transit passenger.

Fantastic Mutlanyu Great Wall, Tiananmen Square and Old Hutong Private Guided Layover Tour - An absolute MUST DO!!! We had a 13 hour layover in Beijing. We had Herbie, a fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide take us to The Great Wall Mutlanyu where we had plenty of time to walk up to, and along the Great Wall. We then visited Tiananmen Square and the Old Hutong area of Beijing before being dropped back to the airport in time for our flight.
This was a private tour with a driver and tour guide included. We were able to leave our carry on bags in the car with the driver while we were being shown around the sights with our tour guide.
We would highly recommend this trip to everyone that has 13+ hours in Beijing and will definitely look at doing this again next time we have the opportunity to spend time in Beijing.
