Great Idea when you have some time between your flights - Hello! We wrote to Mr. Wang just a day before our departure to China and he was able to organize for us a short private trip to Mutianyu- Great Wall. Mr. Wang gave us clear instruction how to meet a driver, how much the tour is, how to prepare and what can we expect from the trip. We knew that the trip we have choosed was with the non-english speaking driver but here(on trip advisor) I couldn't find this option. Anyway the driver was able to communicate with us. We had only 13 hours between our flights, and it was great idea to go to the Great Wall in this time. Whole trip takes around 5 hours - about 1 hour to go from Bejing Airport to Mutianyu - where you spand around 3 hours(especially when it is cold outside ;d). What's more: for the first time on the airport we didn't get the visa(our falt, we went to transit part of airport instead to board crossing passage...) but mr . Wang was not angry and we just apologized and made another trip appointmen after 2 weeks when we were on the way back home from holidays.

A few fleeting hours on the Great Wall- recommended! - As I had just half a day, it was great to find a short tour with a flexible pick-up time.
From the start, the company made sure I had all the necessary details about what to bring and where to meet.
I wasn't looking for a guide, just someone who would take me up and back with a few tidbits of information and help sorting out tickets. David, the driver, was terrific- very cheerful and knowledgeable- and had me back to the hotel in time for dinner, such was his knowledge of Beijing back streets.
As for the Wall- I'll be back, and next time with more hours to explore.

Tony our driver was excellent - and so was the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China - Aside from the fact that the Mutianyu Great Wall was incredibly spectacular (we visited in winter which made it beautifully snow-covered, unpopulated and stunning) this review is predominantly for our driver Tony who was just awesome.
We were having a lot of trouble in China with our NZ money cards (of all types) and as luck would have it, we ended up at Mutianyu with little cash, and every ATM either closed down or not able to accept our cards. Tony really saved us by going the extra mile to help us sort this situation. We were well aware that this was right outside of his job description but as a family with two kids very eager to do the wall, this meant the world to us.
After our day at the wall, Tony then took us back to Beijing with tips and tricks, local information, stories to quench our insatiable interest in local Beijing and things we needed to know to help us for the rest of our stay.
Tony, you are an excellent tour driver, a lovely man and we will be recommending you to anybody needing a driver while in Beijing.

A day you will remember for the rest of your life - If you’re looking to see The Great Wall on your layover, I can’t imagine a better way to do it. The driver met me at the airport with my name on a sign. He was extremely nice and helpful throughout the entire journey. It was a once in a lifetime experience. I’m so glad I booked this tour.

An amazing experience visiting the Great Wall - A great experience indeed!! We contacted them two days in advance to be picked up at the airport, and not even the delay on the flight arrival of three hours made Sam Li, our kind and safe driver, giving up on waiting for us at Arrivals. He guided us to get the tickets and gave some important advices. How was the visit? Amazing. This is totally recommended if you happen to have some hours in transit. Don’t miss it!!

Great Wall - Our driver, David Lee, was very punctual, we left at 6:30AM on a pleasant drive till Mutianyu and got there before 8AM. He helped us buy our tickets and we toke as much time as we needed to walk around the Great Wall, after that he was waiting for us at the same spot that he parked. David was really nice, the things that he didn't know how to say he used the translator, so we had no problem what so ever with communication.
I recommend this tour since it is private and money worth it. They also offer water, bananas, wi-fi and we got a little panda at the end.
PS: get there early and you will have the Wall only to yourself.

Quick and amazing! - Our flight was delayed getting in and David Li was patiently waiting, ready to whisk us away to the Great Wall. He had water and bananas, taking good care of us as he orchestrated a very quick transport, ATM visit, and ticket purchase for the wall and cable car. We made it back in time for our departure flight and could not be happier with the tour. Now we plan to come back to see more.
