- Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - After picking you up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing in the morning, you will start your day trip by visiting Tian’anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take some amazing pictures.
- Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - Then you will spend a couple of hours wandering around the magnificent Forbidden City which is an amazing example of Imperial architecture, and you will learn about the history and stories of the palace. Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, and Gu Gong in Chinese, lies at the city center of Beijing, and once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911AD).
There is another option: just purchase the entrance ticket to Forbidden City. You can use your passport to enter.
- Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - After lunch, head to Summer Palace and visit the largest and most well-preserved royal park in China. It greatly influences Chinese horticulture and landscape with its famous natural views and cultural interests, which also has long been recognized as ‘The Museum of Royal Gardens’. You will get a chance to take a boat ride at the Summer Palace (opens from 1st April to 30th Oct.) to enjoy the Kunming lake and also get off at the south-facing island and leave from another exit.
There is another option: purchase the entrance ticket to Summer Palace. We will send you the QR code in advance, you can scan to enter freely.

Fantastic Full Day Tour - We absolutely loved this full day tour with Angel! Despite heavy crowds, she was able to navigate us through Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Summer Palace. Throughout the entire day, she explained the history of each place we visited in great detail. It was quite fascinating. We stopped to have lunch with traditional Chinese cuisine, which was delicious. Our driver Lu was prompt and professional, and his car was spacious and clean. I highly recommend this tour!

Great tour with an excellent tour guide, May - It was a great trip! We visited Tian’an’men Square and the forbidden city in the morning, had a lovely lunch break, and then visited the Summer Palace in the afternoon. May was our tour guide and she was diligent and dedicated to providing us sufficient historical and background information to appreciate the architecture and the layout of the palace buildings. The background information and interesting stories that May told us made the trip more fun, especially so for my teenage daughter. Both the Square and the Forbidden City are huge and confusing with multiple security checks. You really need a knowledgeable tour guide to help you navigate otherwise you would be distracted with having to figure out which way to go or what to see and so on. The lunch was great. May took us to this very popular local favorite that serves delicious dumplings and traditional dishes. Tasty and Not expensive at all! In the afternoon we visit the Summer Palace. We felt like walking a bit after a satisfying lunch, and May took us hiking up the hill in the Summer Palace, the WanShou Hill, starting from north gate. It’s a very good route with great views and less crowded. Overall this was an excellent and enjoyable day!

A must-do whilst in Beijing - Angel and our driver, Mr Yang, made our day really worthwhile and enjoyable. If we had visited these places wjth no guide, we would not have known the symbolisms of most of what we saw in these places.

Forbidden City Tiananmen Square Tour - We had a most splendid wonderful tour of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square and I highly recommend this tour. But the success and pleasure of this tour was made possible only by a very good and detail tour guide. Our guide - May Wang did a spectacular job in explaining the history-story of the sites keeping us so interested. This is not to mention also how kind her pace was, giving us time enough to enjoy and see all.

Great experience - Peter was a perfect guide. His English was excellent and he could explain us a lot of interesting things about Tiananmen, the Forbidden city and the Summer Palast. More over he was very friendly and we had a tasty lunch with him. We can recommend him by 100%.
