- Beijing - Our tour begins at 9am in front of the ticket office of the Drum Tower, where our tour guide will meet you and hold up a piece of paper with your name on it. The first stop will be the Drum Tower, where you can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the old Beijing hutong area. This is the oldest part of Beijing with a history that spans over 700 years.
After that, we will take a leisurely stroll around the beautiful Houhai lake, which is also famous for its bustling bar scene during Beijing’s night life. Next, we will walk through the old hutongs, while listening to the tour guide’s introduction of the history and traditions of the local Beijingers and their culture.
- Beijing - We will then walk through the well-preserved hundred-year-old Hutong courtyard to experience the authentic local life of Beijingers and feel its rich history. As part of the tour, you will also have the chance to taste some delicious home-cooked lunch with local soft drinks or cold beer included.
