- City Hall - Our guide will meet you at the front gates of Belfast City Hall and your tour will begin with an introduction to the tour and the history of the city.
- St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church - In Bank Square you will discover the history of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and its unique grotto, and the original Belfast Castle which stood nearby.
- Belfast Cathedral - The Cathedral Church of St. Anne - As you walk into the Cathedral Quarter your guide will introduce you to the remarkable history and stories of the United Irishmen and their contributions to our city’s development.
- Cathedral Quarter - As we walk along the historic Hill Street, one of the last cobbled streets in Belfast, we will introduce you to some of the best street art in Belfast along with our recommendations for our finest bars, restaurants and nightspots, together with the story of Punk in Belfast and why it was so important to us in the midst of the Troubles.
- Customs House - The Customs House is one of the finest buildings in the city and was home to ‘Speaker’s Corner’. You will learn some of the stories of the best and worst orators to have stood here, together with the history of one of the oldest pubs in Belfast still standing nearby.
- Big Fish - As you walk along the banks of the river Lagan you can look across to the famous yellow cranes in Harland & Wolff shipyard. It was here that the Titanic was built over 100 years ago. You will also hear the legend behind the stunning public sculpture ‘the Salmon of Knowledge’ and visit our favourite piece of art, the Beacon of Hope, which symbolises the resilience and regeneration of Belfast in recent years.
- Albert Memorial Clock Tower - The Albert Memorial Clock is Belfast’s very own ‘leaning tower’. At this historic spot you will discover the reason for the angle and also learn how Belfast got it’s name. And we’ll show you our most famous footballer’s favourite pub!
- The Belfast Entries - The Belfast Entries are at the heart of the oldest part of the city. Today they have been turned into an amazing outdoor art gallery. Here you will get to explore dozens of pieces of art each with its own story to tell, while hearing about the importance of this area and the people who lived here over the centuries.
- Spirit of Belfast - In the pedestrian precinct at the heart of the city you will discover the meaning behind some of the quirkiest public art in Belfast, together with its alternative name and the centuries-old stories of the historic buildings surrounding it.
- Titanic Memorial Garden - Your tour ends at the Titanic Memorial back at City Hall, where you will hear the story of the most famous ship built here and of some the people who sailed on her, before finishing with tales of some of our most famous citizens (whose statues are to be found in the grounds) and their contributions to our society.

Excellent unbiased walking tour - A highly engaging and informative tour led by Steve on a grey day in Belfast. I can’t recommend this walking tour highly enough if you’re interested in the politics and history of the troubles. I grew up hearing about it on the news but didn’t understand the whys and wherefores and Steve gave us such a thorough history & explanation through the years to explain what led to what I was hearing as a child & adult that I now have so much more of an understanding. He was completely unbiased and delivered only facts which was important even though he grew up in Belfast himself. We moved slowly from one location to another and with every event Steve gave us the background, the details and the fallout caused by the event.
We were a group of four and each one of us was impressed and so glad that we took the time to learn about the city we were visiting. Thanks so much

Five Star Walking Tour With Exceptional Guide! - We loved this tour of Belfast. We saw and learned so much in just a few hours. Our tour guide, Mark, was exceptional. Days later, as we traveled around Ireland, we would come across something that reminded us of a factoid that Mark had taught us. A few times we knew more about some historical event than the tour guide on other tours because we had learned it from Mark! We toured on a rainy, somewhat miserable day but we enjoyed our visit to Belfast immensely. The rain did not dampen the experience. Our pit stop at a local cafe also had some of the best hot chocolate of the trip!

Belfast City Walking Tour - Me and my wife Susan took the tour around Belfast and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had James as our guide and he interacted with us as well as told history mixed with humour. We would highly recommend it if you're interested in history and culture of the city. .James was a 5 star host.

Highly Recommend James with DC Tours to go with for The Best of Belfast Tours - My guide from DC Tours was James, he was so friendly, warm and personable from the offset.
We had a beautiful sunny day in Belfast to enjoy the best of Belfast 3 hour walk about tour.
James was so informative and knowledgeable about the history of NI and also about the best places to dine and drink for everyone’s preference.
The tour flew by as James made the tour so interesting and kept us captivated and engaged throughout.
So pleased I booked this fabulous tour with DC Tours highly recommend and will book them again when I come back to Belfast. Thanks again James ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great Tour!! - We enjoyed our tour with James ... he made the whole experience really interesting. James is Belfast born and and breed, so was very knowledgeable around the best spots to go to ... including all the good bars and restaurants. Thank you James. Entertaining walk - The Belfast Walking Tour is a good way to get a bit of history of Belfast. You are taken to various points in the city and the guide gives interesting tales about where you are. At the end of the tour our guide helped with instructions on how to get to other locations we wished to see.
