Highlights
  • Belleek Pottery & Visitor Centre - The tour is the jewel in the crown to any visit to Belleek Pottery. A maximum of 25 guests are brought around the complete manufacturing process and get a chance to meet and chat with the craftspeople along the way. You could be asked to make a little shamrock after you see how it’s done and add a few paint marks to a vase. Not forgetting the quality control department: As there are no seconds in the company any items that fail the Pottery’s many quality checks have to be broken so you are provided with goggles so you can have a smashing time!!!!
After the tour there are many other things to see in the Centre, our self guided Museum dating back to 1857 for example, our extensive Showroom and then why not relax over a coffee served on Belleek tableware in our Tea Rooms overlooking our Rose Isle Garden on the River Erne.

Worth the drive - I inherited a Belleek collection and was intrigued to go on the tour- you do need tickets ahead of time. The tour did not disappoint. We got to go through the factory and talk to the artists. The tearoom lunch was good, as well, especially the carrot cake! The museum and showroom were interesting as well. Worth the drive!

History and artistry in a uniquely Irish Pottery factory - This professionally led tour took our group through the various phases of creating this handmade, hand fired and intricately painted potteries. Along with meeting various artisans we learned the entire history of the Belleck Pottery with excellent historical archives to explore. There is also a tea room for afterwards and a dazzling gift shop. The staff is helpful and friendly and will assist in shipping any items home you may purchase

Charming Tour Of Belleek Factory - A small group tour of the old Belleek Pottery Centre. Slow paced and were able to ask the workers questions. Learned a lot about their pottery and how it is made. The sad part was that there are only a small fraction of workers there now compared to only a few years ago.

Belleek a must visit China/Pottery factory visit!! - The Belleek factory is a must visit, if you are ever in or near Enniskillen area of NI. The factory, the building, the shop and tour, museum are a MUST. We did the guided tour which gives a real insight, hands on and up close view. Our guide was great, one of the potters, who had been there for 20 years. The behind the scenes tour is a real eye opener as to how flowers, colours and beading are applied and will wow you!

Really enjoyable, great insight, excellent guide. - We had a fabulous time visiting Belleek Pottery for a tour followed by Afternoon Tea. Really enjoyable, very informative, hosted by the fantastic Steph, who was a superb guide. We were given incredible access and insight into the incredible craftsmanship that goes into creating the beautiful products. The tour was very interactive and a real effort was made to give our 8 year old daughter the most enjoyable experience. She loved it. The afternoon tea was excellent as well! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

How Belleek is made - Interesting to see how the pottery is made, but no photos are allowed in the shop. Tour began early and so some members of our group almost missed it! Tea room had food that was just OK. Interesting to see many more patterns than what I've seen for sale in the US.

Worth the short detour into UK off the Wild Atlantic Way - A great opportunity to see behind the scenes at this historic factory and interact with the crafts people who make this beautiful pottery.

Worth a visit - Unfortunately the tours of the factory are only open week days, so we missed out on the tour, but the staff in the visitor centre were absolutely fantastic and allowed hubby and I to view a very informative video of the making of the famous Belleek baskets. It runs for about 20 minutes. The visitor Centre was stocked with a wide range of merchandise for quality gifts. The staff can arrange for larger/fragile items to be shipped home. It is located by the beautiful River Erne.

Unwelcomed and very disappointed - Unable to tour the factory at 2.25pm as we were told the last tour had left 15 mins ago. The company website and their exterior signage both said that the last tour was at 3pm. The 'showroom lady' informed us it would not be possible to tour - despite being made aware that we had driven directly from Dublin to see the Belleek and buy a number of products that I had viewed online. 'Sorry about that!' was the response, 'you can look at a free video if you want....' I didn't drive nearly 3 hours to watch a video. Very bad form and not acceptable is my response.
