Informative and easy going guide - Ramesh is a really nice professional guide! We’ve learned many interesting things about Cubbon park, its trees and its history. The tour was chilled out, we got to know about the time when British used to rule India. Precious information which would be so hard to learn on our own 😊

Good - Really helpful and insightful. The only Sad thing is that the area is not that big to walk and learn.

Enjoyable walk through the British heritage of Bengaluru - Very nice tour of about 2.5 hrs on the British heritage of Bengaluru. Ramesh was a great guide. He gave us lots of information about the city but also about flora and fauna of Cubbon Park. Very recommendable tour to get a good overview of some of the main attractions. Thanks a lot Ramesh!

A walk in the park - I booked a 1-to-1 tour and Ramesh was kind enough to meet me at the hotel and take me to the starting point of the tour by tuc tuc- my first ever tuc tuc experience. The tour was centred in and around Cubbon Park, which is a really lovely place to be on a Sunday when the gates are closed to all traffic. I couldn't believe the change in air quality inside the park compared to the rather congested area around my hotel. Ramesh spoke knowledgeably about the various trees and flowers in the park and steered me towards key buildings and statues, putting them into historical context. Incidentally, I'm ashamed of Winston Churchill for leaving India without paying his bills. Ramesh also outlined Bangalore's more recent history in terms of technology, politics and commerce and pointed out some significant modern buildings. I really feel as if I know something about Bangalore now and the masterclass in road-crossing was invaluable. The price of this tour is very reasonable compared to similar offerings from other companies. This is a very good deal!

Do some research and then go by yourselves. - This walk takes you past some buildings from the British era and through a park. The guide was informative but really we could have done the same thing by ourselves and using google. Not really worth the money.

Scam, don't fall for Yo Tours! - Sad to say this is a scam. This was also verified by the staff working at the meeting point café - I wasn't the first to come for Yo Tours walking tour and not have anyone show. I called Yo Tours 5x while waiting, nothing. Conveniently at 10:25, nearly half an hour after we were supposed to have departed, I got whatsapp messages asking where I was and that they'd been waiting for me since 10. So typical - they have not fooled me and I hope they won't fool you! I have requested a full refund and strongly suggest viator conduct proper due diligence before letting so called 'tour operators' promote their services on their site.

Scam! - This company is a scam. Strongly recommend you call them before booking because after 5 attempts I could not through. Booking was for 10am, I waited till 10:15 and conveniently I got a message at 10:25 saying 'where are you, I have been here since 10'. I talked to the cafe staff and they said the same thing had happened to another tourist a week ago. TripAdvisor, please do your due diligence!!

No guide. No tour. - Our guide did not show up. We waited 30 minutes. I attempted to call the company and had to leave a message. The guide called much later but we were unable to reschedule our tour. We are asking for a refund.
