Great Time and Price! - The price was perfect, and we were picked up by a driver at our hotel, saving us transportation cost. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We met 2 other tourists on this tour and had a wonderful time! We were able to customize the tour; the guide asked us as a group what we were most interested in seeing and we were able to spend as much time in each place as we liked. Our group visited the castle, which was very interesting. You pay to take photos and to enter, but the cost is minimal; we split the amount in our group and shared photos. We also visited a few beautiful government buildings, but did not go inside. The botanical garden was quite different than what I expected, and very interesting and beautiful. They were preparing for a holiday, so the greenhouse was COVERED in beautiful flowers. We got to try a local drink made at a stall there and ate at a local restaurant, which was delicious! The shopping district streets are FULL of stalls, shops, and wandering salespeople. Anything you could want to get, you'll find it there. Our guide was very helpful in bargaining for us. Overall we had a ton of fun on this trip and saw a good amount of the city. It does require walking, but nothing too strenuous. It is loosely structured and you can really make the most of your tour. If you like to be on a regimented schedule, this probably isn't the one for you. But if you are looking to see many sights and get a feel for culture and people, this is a great place to do it!

Great private tour - I booked this tour via Singapore Airlines and wasn't disappointed. I was picked up at the hotel at the agreed time and the driver explained everything well and was very friendly and funny. He took me to all the places described and helped with all the food included. I recommend this tour.

Excellent City Tour through Bangalore - I took this trip on a Saturday and was fully satisfied. Devansh is a very nice guy who gives very good explanations about the sights and about India in general. Also, the hotel pick up and drop off worked very well. I can fully recommend this tour. Thanks a lot, Devansh.

My Worst Tour EVER! - Sorry, but this "tour" was a disaster! I was picked up in a car at my hotel by a driver, and taken to the first stop - the Lalbagh Botanical Garden. There was no conversation in the car, no explanation of what was to come. We got to the park and he told me to get out, and walk around, and call him to pick me up after 45 minutes or more. I had no idea where to go, what to look at, or anything. So, I wandered around a park that didn't have much to offer. Other than a massive 3 billion year old granite rock, there wasn't much "botanical" about the place. After 45 minutes, I found my way back, called him, and waited for him to pick me up. Then we drove around and he pointed out the parliament building (brief stop to take a picture), and then drove to the Bangalore Palace. But... the Palace wouldn't open for another 45 minutes or so. (He didn't seem to know this...). So we drove to some other place (not even sure what it was, because it also wasn't open yet, and we never went back). So, we went back to the Palace, and I sat in the car for 30 minutes, while he talked to another driver. Then he took me up to the palace, and he did wait in line with me until the ticket office opened, and then said to take at least an hour or more to tour, and then call him when I was done. I will say, the Bangalore Palace was really cool, but without a tour guide, I'm very glad I got the audio tour. Oh, and to take photos of any kind, you have to pay an additional fee, beyond the entrance fee, which is not included in this tour. After the Palace, we drove to the "Commercial Street" and for lunch. I got a message from the tour company saying that I was getting done with things too fast, so I could spend more time shopping and at lunch. I said I did not want to shop, and really didn't want to eat lunch, but he insisted on the lunch. We went to the lunch location, which is also on the shopping street - "Commercial Street." This is basically a dump of a street. The driver told me to go shop for at least 30 minutes and then come back to eat in the restaurant we had parked in front of. The street was just store after store of normal shopping, and all looked awful. I said I was not walking alone up that street. So we went in for lunch, which was an awful experience. But, at least I finally got a bottle of water! After about 15 minutes of sitting alone, picking at the food, I went to the other side of the restaurant to find the driver. He didn't seem to know what else to do. I texted the tour guide to ask about the Aquarium, and he said OK, but it is pretty run down, and not very nice. He said basically that is all there is to see. I did ask that since we were done so early (only around noon), if we could stop at the Hard Rock Café on the way back to my hotel, so I could run inside to buy a pin, as we collect those. I did get to do that. Then back to the hotel, and it was over. Oh, and because my hotel isn't right on the main M-G street, I had to pay an extra $15for them to take me back -despite the fact that I was staying at the nicest hotel (Leela Palace) in the city. Horrible "tour" with no dialog, no history - basically just a visit to the nice Palace. I could have just taken a taxi or a hotel car, and done that, for a much nicer experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS TOUR!!!!!
