You can receive authentic Ayurvedic treatment in one day - Normally, for full-scale Ayurveda, you have to stay at a hotel for at least four days, but because I have children, I can't spend several days on Ayurveda, so I was looking for a place where I could receive Ayurveda on a day trip, and I found this place by chance. The one-day course is about four and a half hours, including a doctor's consultation, and costs about 25,000 yen. It's a reasonable price, but the content is full-scale, with a lot of content, such as Shirodhara, full-body treatment, heat therapy with herbal balls, steam inhalation, etc. I went by express train from Colombo, and they also provided transportation from the station to the hotel and from the hotel to the center. The staff were all very friendly, and it was a wonderful experience.

Lakmal came to pick us up by tuk tuk at the hotel, we took the 2-day package and are delighted with the experience: consultation with the doctor to find out our doshas, 5 different massages: head, feet, back, body and face Followed by a 20 minute shirodhara every day and an inhalation Uditha took care of me on the 1st day and Lakmal gave me a personalized session on the 2nd day well suited to my body type and my weight loss goal: I had an extraordinary massage 🙌 Then we went to the pharmacy, wanting to apply the recommended treatment for 2 weeks after the treatments We had a nutritional plan adapted to our dominant dosha Great welcome!

Lakmal is the best.Super authentic Ayurveda Center in Bentota - Great five day with Bentota Ayurveda Center.I stay Taj Bentota three week.but i try to Ayurveda program in near taj bentota ayurveda center.but beginning is not professional center.but beginning i feel it's not professional.after i look tripadvisor.i found No one place in Bentota Ayurveda Center. They are running really professional Authentic Ayurveda program. beginning they are start ayurveda doctor consultation.after apporting to body type they select ayurveda treatments and my foods.it's really magical program.after five days i'm really satisfied and refreshing my body. Not impressed with booking on trip adviser - I booked my treatment on trip adviser. Big mistake. I was charged way too much in Australian dollars. I could have got 20 massages for the package i paid for. The massage was good but very invasive as I only had a towel on. It was a man o didn't know. My boyfriend would have a heart attack if i told him how i was bent & touched. My personal space was not even addressed. The lady doctor spoke quietly & quickly. There is a lot to hear & take in if you want to learn anything. She talked of doing a urine test, stool test & a written diet. None of that. I did get a photocopy of something they gave to everyone. It wasn't worth telling them anything about yourself as the treatment wasn't cattered to my needs. I'm extremely unhappy. The pick-up return was 9000 rupee, 2kms, and it was charged in the package. I paid 500 rupee day before from train to hotel. A massage involves head/face feet body/back. Didn't get steam bath, which I was looking forward to trying. I'm not sure what thermo massage was. The shirodhara was 45 minutes of oil in my long hair. There is no shower or shampoo to wash out. So be mindful my shower at the hotel has no pressure it a nightmare to get out. Shampoo oily hair, then wet it. I got no aftercare instructions. $363.33Aus is a lot for what I got. It is the most expensive thing I've paid for here. I've been here a month & and the same treatment cost me 14000 rupee.
