Waterfalls, waterfalls everywhere - A lovely experience that was as much the result of the tour guide, Bas, filling us with his considerable knowledge of Bergen, Norway, geology, history and so much more. The waterfalls were impressive as well, and the tour is well-paced with rest stops and tons of photo opportunities. Without question, Bas's narration and leadership was key to this being a five star tour.

Good day trip - We highly recommend this day trip, we had a great guide named Bas who was very welcoming. Even though it rained most of the day, Bas kept up the good mood and told us funny anecdotes and information about Norway. The waterfall stop was very pretty and the hike to the lake was beautiful. The weather didn't cooperate well but Bas even made extra stops on the way back to give us a full experience. Great day overall!

Great waterfall tour! - Great little tour for a few hours. Our guide Neka was wonderful, so friendly and informative, clearly loves her job. You essentially see 3-4 waterfalls, first and last ones were my favorite. A little pre-warning in the overall instructions in registration would help attendees be better prepared. Since it was a Sunday afternoon, the town we visited was mostly closed down so we only had one cafe option for lunch. No big deal but I would have just brought a sack lunch myself had I known so I’d have more time to walk around and see the sites. Overall - great tour to see a different side of the fjords!

Bergen Day Trip - Waterfalls of Hardangerfjord - excellent guide - awe inspiring experience - My wife and I took part in a Hardangerfjord waterfall tour departing from Bergen. Our guide 'Bas' turned a rain-filled day into a wonderful experience. He stated many times how the rainfall had increased the volume and hence power of the waterfalls we visited and had created other temporary waterfalls in different places. Sufficient time was provided at each waterfall site along with specific instructions on how to best experience these waterfalls up close. We also viewed some ancient rock carvings and were able to walk upon a suspension bridge high above the fjord. We enjoyed all and recommend a trip to Norway include a tour of the country’s magnificent waterfalls, especially this tour with its guide 'Bas'. Our guide 'Bas' kept us entertained during the tour with commentary of current and historical facts about Norway from its fjord creation by glaciers, Viking lifestyles, today’s significant oil, hydropower and fish production, Norwegian customs / lifestyles (old/new) and the strong commitment to nature, along with troll folk tales with musical support. He also shared his own personal stories and experiences hiking and camping in Norway’s unique nature plus a humorous short story he had written about a family’s challenges in preparing to leave the city to spend Holiday time in a cabin in the snowy mountains. The many pictures we took were treasures.
