Seeing what remains of the wall, you are projected back in time! Very interesting! - What remains of the wall brings to life what the citizens of Berlin had to experience from 1961 to 1989 when it was finally torn down. In the city there are several areas where a piece of the wall still exists but the most important ones are where there is the memorial and where there are the murals including, the most famous one, the kiss between the Russian leader Leonid Brezhnev and the President of East German SED party Erich Honecker.
