This excursion emphasizes the Nazi-period Berlin. It illuminates the brutality and workings of the Nazi-rule by featuring a variety of buildings, as well as the aftermath of the Nazi reign, that left a city and a nation in devastation and disgrace, eventually leading to its segregation, with a barrier separating the east from the west.
