Okay tour - Not as informative as most hop on hop off buses around Europe. The tour was pointing out numbers on houses but we never knew what side of the street and by the time you found the numbers, you were already past!

Okay but been on better tours for the money. - The tour did cover most of the main sights and lasted over 2 hours but this was mostly due to the traffic congestion but that is not the fault of the tour company. On this tour, the information was being given by a rep on the bus over a speaker system and compared to other tours where you are given earphones and select your language, this guide seemed very rushed with much less information being given as she had to cover Spanish and English an also check people on the bus as each stop. We stayed on the bus and did one lap of the route to get our bearings as trying to hop on and off would have taken too much time out of the day. I can understand the environmental advantage of not using thousands of disposable earphones and the personal touch of being given the tour by someone but overall we didn't enjoy this as much as others we have done and didn't really feel that it was good value for money.

Experience dependent on the guide - Unlike other cities these buses have a live guide and it really just depends on which guide you have if u can learn or enjoy your tour around the city

Choose a different option - Bad memories having to wait 45 minutes for the next bus to show up. Only the beauty of the city allows me to recall the tour but not the service.

Don’t waste your money - So disappointing. This company is very badly run. The guide spoke in Spanish and English and totally dumbed down any commentary. She lacked understanding and knowledge of what people want to know on this kind of tour. Some people weren’t given maps and had no idea where they were as she didn’t explain most of the districts In any detail and missed out lots of interesting monuments, statues etc. Plus someone was let on board free because there was no system when people got on and off the bus and the guide kept asking him to come forwards. This meant even less commentary. We wanted to stay on for the next few stops at the end but we had to get off because the crew decided they wouldn’t stop at stops 2, 3, 4 and 5 the next time round and expected us to wait for the next bus. So this Big Bus hop on hop off tour didn’t even deliver that. We usually go on this kind of tour when we visit a city for the first time. This company needs a complete re-think about what they offer and how they execute it

Terrible - TERRIBLE! We waited 2 hours for a service that should run every 20 minutes. Finally went to the ticket office who sold us the ticket the day before 'oh there is a demonstration but you can use the bus after 3pm'. But other bus companies were operating! There was no advice on app or website. We asked for a refund and it was like I asked for their first born child, really doubt I will get my money back. Go with another company.

Terrible service, very unprofessional. - Terrible service, we started the tour and left at stop 7, after 45 minutes we went to that stop and waited more than 45 minutes and it didn't pass, while 5 buses from the other company passed by. We walked to stop 8, where we waited another 45 minutes, where we met other people who also had not passed for more than 35 minutes. We waited about 10 more minutes and he didn't come. In conclusion, we toured Madrid alone and on foot since the bus never appeared at the stops. The service is regrettable. I don't recommend it at all. We contacted the chat several times and the truth is they didn't resolve anything for us, they couldn't even tell us the planned schedules of the other separate ones. DISASTER. NOT RECOMMENDABLE. WE GIVE YOU 50 EUROS

Never again! - Due to the demonstrations going on that day, we were advised we won’t be able to hop on until 3pm. We only did one stop at Plaza Mayor and around 7pm we decided to go back. We waited for about 1 hour for the bus to come and just to be told that that was the last bus and will only stop almost 2 kilometres from our stop. Our time was wasted that day as we had plans to see other places. I told Viator what happened and asked for a partial refund; they were sympathetic at first but then they said I didn’t provide the stop number so they’re not able to make a refund. Meanwhile, the other bus company was operating from 9am. We were very disappointed!

A scam choose another company - A fraud!!! It has only one route, unlike the big bus in Madrid which has 4, the staff is unfriendly, they do not have maps to follow the route, they do not provide headphones, the directions are live in English and Spanish and the explanation depends on the language you start. It is asynchronous with the tour. Absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED
