Hop on hop off bus - Enjoyed the trip around Paris. It took in nearly all the sights. Was a bit surprised it didn’t go to the sacre couer or montmarte.

Do not book this trip. Waste of money and time. - Big bus driver refused to stop for 2-3 miles. He kept on saying he does it know where to stop. Forced me to chase the bus 2 miles. Boat ride ticket was included but app could not open the ticket. Not only wasted the money for 2 tickets but walked a lot unnecessarily and wasted time.

Do NOT use - The route was completely different than what was promised. All of the changes were because of the Olympics. The Olympics are just an excuse. Because it was a different route, we had to find other ways of seeing major attractions like the Eiffel Tower. Ridiculous tour. Almost no information was being given because it was a different route. Not worth the time or money.

Worse tour we ever had - Only got to ride the bus for 15 minutes, was never told the last bus ride was at 5:30. The advertisement said we could ride as many times in 24 hour period but did not say last ride was at 5:30.

Do Not Book - Do not book this! We paid in advance. We went to the location for pick up and two buses blew past us! We walked to another stop later and another bus blew past us! Bus driver did a backward wave at us. So- never got on any bus all day!

Disappointed with experience - I have booked many trips with Viator while in Ireland and they have been incredible- Sadly a recent trip to France (Paris) on the hop on/off bus was terrible. While bus kept on schedule the drivers we consistently less than helpful with info on sites and locations- the audio system did not work, e.g., cutting off and on and the volume was not adequate- we had to use Google to learn about the sites I fully understand the language issue but compared to the Irish drivers - the bus ride was just that a bus ride

Use another company or just walk around. - Very expensive plain bus ride. We tried about 10 sockets and commentary didn’t work then found one that worked about 20% of the time and had to share it. The other 80% was the ride static. With no commentary it’s way too overpriced.

MY BAD BIG BUS EXPERIENCE - Our Tour Driver was terrible. He drove pass sites and we didn't hear or know which sites they were because the idiot never instructed us to get ear hearing plugs and where to put them to hear recording. I was confused when I saw people getting off bus and asked him why. He just said he stopped there and dismissed us. We lost out on the whole tour along with the money we paid, One of our drivers overheard me complaining and volunteered to be our tour guide which turned our trip to a wonderful Paris experience.

Lousy waste of money. Use public transport instead. Much cleaner. - Noisy, diesel bus with lousy audio. We got off after a few stops and had no desire to experience that again. Planned on using the service to get to know Paris but realize now that just taking public transportation would be MUCH better.

Not worth your time and money! - Unfortunately, this was not a good experience and was a complete waste of money. We ended up just taking the metro to our final destinations as this proved to be easier, quicker, and more reliable than the Big Bus. The metro only costs $2.70 per person for a one way ticket so I wish we would’ve just skipped the tour and used the Metro to get to all the sites we wanted to visit. Today’s experience was the worst hop on hop off that we have been on, and we have been on several in other cities It could be just The Big Bus Tour, as this was our first tour from this particular vendor. We trusted Viator and the fact that this was the only vendor they promote. However, there was far too few busses for the amount of tickets they sold. At many of the stops, we waited 20+ minutes for a bus and then when they finally showed up, they were already full. So then you have to wait again for the next bus. They said one of their busses broke down so that threw everything off. But that wasn’t even the worst part of this experience! The worst part was that about 80% of what you hear on your headphones is awful music. There is hardly any dialogue and when there is, it’s very brief and it doesn’t give much detail or explanation of where you are and what you are seeing. That’s one of the most important things on a tour bus, and this one completely fails in that category. I rarely give negative reviews but felt I had to for this one, in hopes that it helps others save their money!
