Awesome time ziplining on the Big Island - Our family of four did the Zipline tour on August 5 as part of a week-long vacation to the Big Island. The experience was a highlight of our vacation. Below is the review as written by our 13-year old son: The Big Island Kohala Canopy Zipline was an extremely fun excursion. Our tour guides, Eli and Tami, were funny and knew what they were doing. They also were very helpful. I felt really safe on this zip line because of the many precautions our guides took. There wasn’t any boring parts. Definitely recommend

Best zipline ever! - Best Zipline ever! Super safe but still high and fast enough to be the fun-side of scary. It's so beautiful up in the trees and you get to pretend to be an Ewok :). We took our 2 kids, ages 9 and 11, and the crew was so great with them. My husband is afraid of heights and he had a blast. The crew knows so much about the history of the area which really added to the experience. They will take photos so you can leave your phone behind (if you drop it, it's gone forever so don't risk it). Would 100% do this again!

Fun for the family! - Great knowledgeable staff. We were very safe and the fun Bridges and shaded time in the trees were amazing. Highly recommend. Wear closed toes shoes, no tank tops and for long hair pull hair back in braid would be best. The staff takes pictures of you along the way with their camera and at some point will email you the pictures for a total of $20 package would do this again!

Excellent from start to finish! - From start to finish this was an excellent experience. First of all, shout out to everyone who works in the office of Kohala Ziplines. They were so friendly and kind. We received several reminders of our adventure leading up to it via text, email and even a phone call. When I called back to ask a quick question, the woman who answered was so helpful. Our guides Shawn and Kodi were so knowledgeable about the area, local trees, plants and recommendations for places to eat after! It was safety first with them, which I appreciated, but they were so much fun too. Highly recommend for a fun couple of hours!

Lighthearted and fun, but serious about safety - We had a wonderful day with Alana and Brogan! From the very start, Brogan’s chatter kept us chuckling and learning, but he was always very serious about safety and making sure we knew what we were doing. Alana’s calm presence and constant reassurance were especially appreciated. I felt comfortable the whole day and particularly enjoyed learning about the local flora and fauna. Brogan is a goldmine of information! Thank you both!

Amazing experience! - I'm not going to lie...I was SCARED out of my mind to do this, but it was something that I really wanted to do! The guides were patient and very knowledgeable and put my mind at ease! I absolutely loved the ziplines (the rope bridges are still questionable....but I conquered my fear..LOL). We had a light rain at times which just added to the experience of being in the rainforest. Even though those rope bridges scared me, I would definitely do this again! Here's a picture of our tour guides with us after we were done!

An amazing experience from start to finish - This was the first zipline experience for me, my husband, and our teen. Our guides were Shawn and Brenda, and they were both so kind, patient, and focused. We felt safe the entire time and had such a fun experience! They were also super knowledgeable about the area and provided great suggestions for places to visit after our zipline tour. As we wrapped up our tour, the course closed due to high winds. I felt this reiterated the company's focus on safety and made me even happier we chose to book with Kohala Zipline.
