Great family bike adventure - My family really enjoyed the e-bike self guided tour. We arrived to find our bikes ready to go. After a short tutorial, we were off. We got to enjoy the park in a unique way and we were able to avoid the crowds. We were aLeo able to combine our ride with must do hikes which was the best of both worlds. The GPS app map was good but drains battery fast so bring a backup. The audio portion was the only piece that needs a bit of improvement. The audio itself was great but getting to the audio was cumbersome.

Excellent pick!!! - This was an incredibly fun way to see the volcano. I am 52 yo and my wife is 46 yo. We are in pretty good shape. The bikes are in good shape and do not require much exertion at all. Highly recommend!

Awesome e-bike rental - We rent a lot of bikes and these are far away the best maintained and best ergonomic bikes I've ever used from a rental company. Even the handlebar grips were high quality, unlike the typical cheap handlebar grips that deteriorate and get all sticky and gross. Everything was killer, and Gwendolyn is super rad and super knowledgeable with endless excellent recommendations.

Going downhill at full... - Going downhill at full speed, around the curves was awsome! Learned a lot of new information on volcanos. We really enjoyed lunch at the base.

Amazing, must do! - Oh my goodness, what a highlight of our trip to the Big Island. The park and the path that Gwendolyn outlined was amazing. Everything went so smooth and Gwendolyn helped us with everything we needed to know to have a fun, adventurous, and safe ride. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Also, we saw so many rainbows toward the end of the day.

E-bike trip around Volcanoes National Park - We enjoyed seeing the park from all different view points. We enjoyed being outside and the ease of riding the e-Bike! The company representative was very professional and spent as much as time as necessary to explain the trip, the use of the GPS app, etc.

way better experience as by car - The tour was great and the ebikes did the job. The Guide App and especially the switch to the Audio option was a little bit scratchy. Maybe the german network provider was part of this problem but it was no showstopper for the Tour. Mahola to our Instructor, she did a great job.

Very Disappointed - I was very disappointed with E- Bike Rental and would not recommend this to anyone. I arrived early and did have a few questions but was told that she wasn't ready to open just yet and that she had to finish setting up the bikes. I understood this and waited in my car. at about 9:45am. she called out for me to get started. She set up my bike, helmet and gave me some instructions. I let her know that I had some questions concerning the app that will be downloaded to use as a guided tour and I was concerned about the weather. She began to side step the questions, "I'll get to that" she said, than she moved to my payment. She started again "lets get your card/payment" so I did pay. Now a group of 6 came in for their bike set up. This is when she started to ignore me and moved on to help the others. I kept trying to interject, "can we finish setting me up so I can go?" She took my phone acting as if she was trying to download something as she kept talking to the group. Another group of people arrived and again I was set back farther in this mess. By now it was 11:15am. I waited for her customers to start leaving/ride theirs bikes away before I told her that I've waited long enough, I'm done, I'm out. I did not like her lack of courtesy and attitude towards me. My patience had ran out.
