Kahalu’u Beach Park - This is a small group lesson there will be a ratio of 3 students to one instructor.
Once arriving at the beach, all surfers will be sized up for gear with a foam top surfboard, reef walker surf shoes to protect your feet, and a SPF surf shirt to protect against sunburn and surf rash.
After getting outfitted with gear a hands-on demonstration will take place covering all the fundamentals of surfing, including proper technique and etiquette, the pop-up method, and a detailed onshore and in the water safety briefing.
All lessons are 2 hours total. Complimentary drinking waters will be available after each lesson.

Great Surf Lesson in Kona! - Koa was great and worked hard to put us on good waves and then instruct us when we returned before next ride! I would highly recommend!

Great waves in a beautiful bay - Bradley and Koa were great guides in a beautiful spot. Everything was easy and fun. Kaleo helped us find a good day and time for the best surf. We'll do it again next year!

Catching Waves 🌊 - Kaleo's surf lesson was amazing. The area is so beautiful and it was both a really chill and exhilarating few hours. Great positive vibes and super informative for a first time surf experience for my daughter and I. Highly recommend! Mahalo nui loa!

Great private lesson! - We had a great time surfing! It ended up being a private lesson because no one else signed up for the day we did. The waves were calm at the start which helped with learning the technique. It was all at our own pace which was really nice. Beautiful clear water too with tons of fish!

Great surfing lesson - My kids (9&17y) had an awesome time! I’m so glad we booked this. The guys were great and attentive to making sure everyone was safe and able to have a wonderful experience. My 9 year old says she can’t wait to surf again! I was very pleased with the personal attention through phone and text from the moment I booked. I highly recommend this company.

Teenager approved - My teens said 10 out of 10. Max was knowledgeable and obviously knew what he was doing as both teenagers were up successfully on the 3rd try.
