Great Tour, must do - Great personalised and informative tour. Scott knows the best places to go! Our guide was super easy to arrange our tour and gave us more than what we expected. I am so glad I found his services. His live feeds on YouTube are wonderful BEFORE and AFTER visiting this amazing island.

unbelievably spectacular tour - I have taken 100s of tours all around the world. Scott is amongst the top 10 tour guides I've met. I happen to be staying on the island when I found his tour operation but I think this review would most benefit those who are on the cruise ship. I've taken tons of cruises and a huge number of short excursions... going and hanging out with Scott is a way better option than anything that the ship can offer. I highly recommend this experience.

The best excursion on our four week cruise! - Scott met us outside the pier building and we were away quickly to beat the tour buses to the shore, to watch some surfers and enjoy the ocean. After a stop at Rainbow Falls, we continued on to Volcanoes State Park, where we spent most of our time. He took us off the beaten path to see things like volcano hair and some steam vents. Boy that steam was hot! We continued on to see the Kilauea Crater, drove through the lava flow are down to the Hōlei Sea Arch area. Very cool. We asked if on the way back to Hilo to stop at the Akatsuka Orchid Gardens, which Scott was happy to do. We also visited the Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut farm and tried the various nut samples, which we topped off with an ice cream cone. Well worth the stop. Then back to the ship. Our five hour tour was closer to six hours and Scott was a great host and tour guide. This was well worth the price, I would highly recommend this tour.

Super Scott - This was the most awesome tour! The only way to go! Get your own tour guide and your own vehicle at a very reasonable price. Scott was very knowledgeable and made the most of our time. After a few stops he realized what our interests were and the remainder of the day was incredible! Thanks Scott for making our day at Volcano National park the absolute best!
