Highlights
  • Heavenly Hawaiian Kona Coffee Farm Tours & Konalani Coffee Bar - Visit an award winning 100% Kona Coffee Farm, with exclusive access, tasting and tour.
  • Punalu’u Black Sand beach - Have you ever seen a beach with black sand? Because of constant volcanic activity, you’ll find white sands and black sands on the island of Hawaii. Located on the southeastern Ka’u coast, Punaluu Black Sand Beach is one of the most famous black sand beaches in Hawaii.
Located between the towns of Pahala and Naalehu in Ka’u, Punaluu Black Sand Beach’s jet black shores are an unforgettable sight. Coconut palms fringe the upper edge of sand and you may also discover large Honu, (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles), basking on the beach.
  • Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park protects some of the most unique geological, biological, and cultural landscapes in the world. The park encompasses the summits of the world’s most active volcano, KÄ«lauea. The only comprehensive Park Tour available. Tour the Park and the entire Chain of Craters Road from Summit to Sea.
  • Saddle Road - Saddle Road, Hawaii, is considered among the most spectacular roads in the world. This is 55-mile drive of a chance of a lifetime experience. Hawaii’s Route 200 goes through all four of her climates – tropical forests, arid desert, lush grasslands and misty mountaintop fog. Between miles 19 and 23, you’ll see a few places with lava flows and young vegetation and trees. But just after Saddlehouse Road, you’ll see the ridges that show where a 1936 flow slowly came to a stop 2 miles away. Near the road you can see where lava thickened and left the telltale mounds of a slowing flow. From here, you’ll continue through the volcanic aftermath of hundreds of thousands of years of lava activity as you head toward Belt Road, where you’ll eventually descend into Kona or Waikoloa.
  • Rainbow Falls - On sunny days, rainbows appear in the mist of the 80-foot falls, making for some pretty magical views. The broad waterfall — nearly 100 feet in diameter — plunges over a natural lava cave and into the river below.

When it rains, (which it often does in Hilo), the engorged Wailuku River makes the falls wider, muddier and louder. On these days, you won’t see the rainbows for which this spot is named, but the sheer volume of water and the accessibility of this spot for all ages make it a fun, quick and easy excursion.

  • Hilo - Drive through Historic town of Hilo.

Breathtaking experience! - Amazing experience for a honeymoon excursion! Dave was an awesome host, very personable and knowledgeable. We got to see so many breathtaking things. Most memorable was eating lunch overlooking the crater and seeing the turtles at the black sand beach. I recommend bringing your own drinks/snacks and keeping them in your book bag if you want some earlier during the day (we got the provided ones after lunch).

Excellent experience through Volcano National Park - This was super cool trip through Volcano National Park. Great views along the way after stopping for some excellent Kona coffee to get the day started. Black sand beach was a treat, but actually seeing a basking turtle there was special. Kilauea makes you feel so small but I would say making our way down to the coast to see the old lava flows was out of this world. Very picturesque and unique rock texture and formations. David was an amazing tour guide to have on this trek, very knowledgeable about the geography and history. Thank you so much for a great time!

Superb Big Island Volcano Tour - The itinerary was excellent and our guide David was wonderful. It was a long day but I enjoyed everything about the tour. We had some sunshine today and were able to see the volcano in all its splendor. Lunch at the Volcano House Rim Restaurant was tasty and the view was amazing. Our guide David was kind, patient, knowledgeable and sincere in his efforts to provide the best experience possible. I highly recommend this tour.

I could tell that Zane loved what he was doing and knew what he was talking about! - I felt like I was with family that lived on the island. We spent the day touring the island and visited several different places. If you only do one tour of the island itself, this is the one to do! He knows a lot about the island, the culture, history, and of course the landscape. One of the many highlights was the tour of the volcano. We didn’t see an eruption but Zane shared pictures and videos that he took of past eruptions. We had plenty of opportunities to explore the area around the island.

Amazing knowledgeable tour - Erick was amazing and very knowledgeable. He was on time with pickup and honestly really takes care of his customers. He had snacks for the trip raincoats we used with umbrellas and throughout the drive he had a headset he used to speak thru the speaker system to educate us on the island as we drove. If you desire to learn and have fun book this company because it was worth it. The lunch at the restaurant was great as well and he also follows up with you after the tour if you have questions about anything to do on the island. Well worth it.
