Awesome Trip through Volcanos National Park - Scott was amazing...he knows the park so well that while we were talking about different interests we had he would say "I have the perfect spot to take you to" and he showed us a site in the park that related to what we were talking about. In my case it was "the whispering of the trees" and he stopped along a cliff side and there was indeed a clump of trees that were blowing in the wind and it sounded like whispering. He is very knowledgeable about so many aspects of Volcanos National Park and shares so many little details about the vegetation as well as the lava. We had such a great four hours and highly highly recommended having Scott take you on a tour. We would never have found so many cool places to explore!!

Incredible - So glad I signed us up for this! Scott took us to see places that we would have never seen on our own and pointed out things that we would have never noticed. He is very knowledgeable about the volcanos and sites near Hilo. He was also very patient with our picture taking as my husband and I were both taking many pictures. I highly recommend the sunrise tour; there were very few people at the volcano and they were so quiet that we could hear the movement of the lava. We went back to the park later the next day on our own (couldn't get enough of it) and there were many more people, all talking so no one could hear it; they didn't know what they were missing. I highly recommend this tour!

By far my favorite excursion of all the... - <p>By far my favorite excursion of all the islands! Scott was an amazing guide. He communicated throughout the whole process, was on time, his vehicle was spacious and comfy but the BEST was his knowledge of Volcanoes National Park, it's rich history and historical facts. He knew all the places to stop and get out-most undiscovered by the big tour buses so they were peaceful. Scott was patient and let us dictate how much time we wanted to spend at each stop. You can tell he is passionate about his job and he LOVES the park and the island. I would book this over and over again when going back. Truly an amazing experience that wouldn't have been possible with a large group-Scott was great!</p>

Fabulous Tour - Scott provided the best tour of Volcano National Park and the surrounding area! We were a little apprehensive about leaving our hotel at 4:45am but trusted Scott to know what he was doing. He was absolutely right to get to the Park before sunrise. We saw all the stars, heard the volcano rumbling and then witnessed the sunrise!!!! Scott also took us off the normal tourist path, showing us sites that many people never see. I must say that this tour was well worth every penny. Scott is very personable and accommodating. Don't hesitate to book with him.

Private 3-hour tour of Volcano National Park - Scott took me on a 3-hour tour of the park with special emphasis on the lava and it's formations and Chain of Craters Road. His knowledge and enthusiasm for the park, the volcano and lava were great and he showed me details and places I would have missed traveling on my own. Plus he was great about taking pics of me. Had I went on my own, there would have been noone to do so. He pointed out some good hikes and other things in the area to further check out on my own. Scott's a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who is passionate about ensuring you see what you want to see most and helps to make that happen.

Scott gave us an incredible private... - <p>Scott gave us an incredible private tour. He is very knowledgeable and most hospitable. He kept us way out in front of the tour buses during our private tour. In addition to the Volcanoes National Park Scott took us to an orchid house, Mauna Loa macadamia plantation, Twin Falls, Hawaiian Candy Company and to Richardson Park for a walk on a black sand beach.
