Good fun - My wife and I visited as we had been given a gift voucher we booked our time and turned up 👍 . There was some interesting information about how chocolate came to the UK , and how Cadbury's started and progressed, the is also some rides and fun stuff for the kids to do . The free chocolate is always nice 🤤 and the little pot of melted chocolate you get on the way round is 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 . Ps the gift shop at the end it DANGEROUS 🤣🤣 make sure to have plenty of money 🤣🤣🤣🤣 all in all a good day out .

Disapointing and not a lot to see - We arrived here 45 mins before our tour started as it was the Easter holidays. We went to the playground to be confronted by lots of schoolchildren swarming the place. They were teenagers and took over the whole place. My 3 year old was knocked flying by one so we couldn't let her play as it was too dangerous. The queue for the 4D cinema we were told would take 45 minutes so we didn't join that either. We went to the bournville experience where we made our names in chocolate which took all of 2 minutes and then tempered some chocolate which again took 2 minutes. Eventually we just had our lunch outside which we'd luckily bought with us. Our tour started at 1:30 and the queue for the previous time was alrerady at the end of the queueing system. However it took us about 20 minutes to get through where we were given some chocolate. We walked through the jungle areas and got to the little cinema bit where we were told the Cadbury story. This was interesting. We then went to the next room where they told us how the chocolate is made. This scared my 10 year old due to the shaking seats! The rest of us enjoyed this though! The little pot of chocolate was delicious and it was good to see some workers making chocolate although the window was too high for the smaller kids to see through. More could have been made of this area. We went through the street area to get to Freddo's ride. The street split into 2 by a rope divide and we followed the people in front of us. When we got to the front the lady asked if we had accessible tickets as we weren't supposed to be at that side of the queue however there were no signs anywhere telling me this which she agreed with and now there was a whole bunch of people behind us so she had to double queue manage! Chaos! The Freddo ride was fun and probably the highlight. To summarise, I expected Cadbury World to be more fun than it was so we were all pretty disapointed and it was an expensive 2 hours. I woudn't return again. Lastly a shout out to the young guy who was with the characters dressed up at the front of Cadbury World he was really great, enthusiastic, very patient with the smaller children and great at making sure everyone got to have a picture with freddo/Caramel Bunny.

Poor - 2.5 hours to drive here and the indoor experience last all of half an hour and that was with the ride breaking down as well they did give a ticket to ride again but we didn’t bother as we didn’t feel the ride was that great anyway. we got a total of 3 chocolate bars each I remember years ago when it was a lot more the out door bit was better with the 4d film and the drawing with chocolate but for £58 for the 3 of us it was so not worth it for that money won’t return again

Queue after queue - I haven’t been to Cadbury world for years and I remember it being a great day out, my gosh it has changed so much. So so disappointed with the visit. Just queue after queue after queue. Soul destroying. Only good part was the outdoor play area so never use this place as an option for a rainy day out because you will be so disappointed with what it has to offer now. I will never return

Disgraceful waste of money and time - This is genuinely the worst tour you can ever go on … it is terrible !! Massive long queues with waiting times of 1h to go on the tour, they have you stand in corridors, hearded in and standing with kids for that long like at an airport with one border control officer ! 50 minutes to get in to 4d ! At £25 per person this is a complete and utter rip off !!! DONT GO .,, disgraceful !

Avoid - What a poor experience £89 for a family of four Our special day out for the month Boring long corridors with little to see or do and one chocolate bar each and a small bit of melted Chocolate in a tub Such a fantastic buildout and history. The potential here is immense but it’s currently the biggest letdown. Avoid.

Truly awful - If you want to (1) see very old exhibits, (2) wait in queues of over an hour and a half for a one minute ride, (3)be very parched as none of the machines take car payments for fluids Then this is the day out for you. it’s like all of those winter wonderland fiasco sites you see the newspapers. The sad thing is this used to be amazing. Shame on you Cadbury. This is a disgrace to Birmingham. We went on a weekend in April yet the numbers were overwhelming the frantic staff Please change or close down

Don’t waste your money! - First of all the positives: free parking at the site; easy timed entry to the attraction. Good outside play area for the children. You can take a picnic to save on buying food in the cafe. Negatives: crowded and very slowly moving queue around the chocolate factory tour and before getting on the underwhelming ‘ride’. It took an hour to pass through which spoiled things somewhat. The queue to the ride was also poorly managed with very few staff on duty to prevent queue jumpers and people shoving their way through even though it was far from clear they all accessiblity needs. We felt like giving up but there’s no way to exit before going on the ride. You get two free chocolates each per entrant per visit which is a lot fewer than it used to be. We will not be returning. Don’t waste your money.

Going down the pan just as the chocolate does - Evidently it's gone down to one bar of chocolate it was poor experience Gone down hill very fast . It really needs sorting out , I wonder if Cadbury has read all the last reviews probably too busy counting the pounds they take of everyone in the Shop 4 flakes in A pack 1.70. Bargain booze £1.00

Save your money and don’t visit total disappointment and waste of time your hardly a tour - Awful no staff to guide you. Waiting in cramped queues. Sign in queue says wait so long which is wrong as anybody with accessibility band walks by you and gets seen first. Seen videos online where you get to play with chocolate this does not happen it’s staff doing it. Would not recommend and won’t ever be back.
