Highlights
  • Blue Bay - Your full-day excursion to Ile Aux Cerf from Blue Bay begins with a complimentary hotel pick-up from your accommodation anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet and be greeted by our certified guide, and after boarding your comfortable vehicle, you’ll set off to Blue Bay, a village located in the East of Mauritius.

This speed boat cruise is all about ensuring you and your guests, friends, family, or partners have a fantastic day as part of your holiday in Mauritius, enjoying the best sea trip.

  • Blue Bay Marine Park - You’ll head to Blue-Bay Marine Park for snorkeling. Sea lovers will enjoy this trip to the marine park. Sit in your boat and depart for the reefs while feeling the cool day breeze brushing against your skin. Take in the beauty of the surroundings while gazing at the underwater world while snorkeling. You will then stop in the middle of the marine park and get to snorkel and discover the magical world of the reefs.

At an average depth of 5.5 meters, with crystal clear water offering great visibility, the snorkeling conditions are ideal. You will have a great view of the reef, fish, and a large selection of corals (there are more than 50 different species of corals at the park!).

The Blue Bay Marine Park is home to mangroves, algae, sea grasses, corals, and other marine organisms. There is also a wide variety of fish species that include Damselfish, Surgeonfish, Butterfly fish, juvenile Sailfin tangs, as well as tiny Pipefish and large Trumpet fish.

  • Pointe d’Esny - Our first stop will be at the shipwreck of Alblair on the coral reef of Pointe d’Esny.

Here since 1902, it has a controversial history that you will discover during our trip! The story of the Dalblair is another unfortunate shipwreck that occurred in 1902.

  • Ile aux Aigrettes Nature Reserve - Following the visit to the shipwreck, you’ll head to Ile Aux Aigrette Island, where you will enjoy a cocktail and have the chance to swim in the crystal clear lagoon of Ile Aux Aigrettes. You will enjoy a natural swimming pool with plenty of starfish.
  • Ile du Phare - Afterwards, we will bring you to visit the lighthouse Island – Ile aux Phare, where you will have time to visit the ancient lighthouse ruin or time to walk around the island.

L’Île aux Fouquets, also known as L’île aux Phare (Phare Island), is a small rocky island in the Grand Port Bay. The Island was significant during the Battle of Grand Port, between the French and the British. Its lighthouse, which was built in 1864 to guide ships to the port of Mahebourg, has defied centuries and still stands with all its majesty.

  • ÃŽle de la Passe - Ile de la Passe is a small but very significant islet off the southeast coast of Mauritius. During the colonial era, the islet was a key factor in the defense of Mauritius where the French and British inhabitants built defenses on Ile de la Passe. Today, the ruins of these defenses, dating back two and a half centuries, are still present.

An ideal site for a fascinating day trip, Ile de la Passe offers stunning views of the mainland and the turquoise sea as well as historic ruins of the defenses which will give you an insight into the battles that took place there, including the legendary Battle of Vieux Grand Port which is commemorated by an inscription on the Arc De Triomphe in Paris.

You can spend a pleasant day walking through the ruins of the ancient French defense and awing at them.

  • ÃŽlot Vacoas - While cruising, we will pass by the Ilot Vacoas.
  • ÃŽlot Flamants - Once embarked, you will head to Ile aux Flamands, a small island of white sand in the middle of the crystal clear lagoon. You will spend about 30 magical minutes here.
After a snorkeling session in the turquoise waters of the lagoon, you will be heading to Ile aux Cerfs.
  • Grand River South East Waterfalls - As part of your cruise, you will also get to visit the Grand River South-East Waterfalls. The GRSE waterfall is an exceptional place where land and sea merge. The speed boat will sail along the waterfalls’ canal for a beautiful view of the Grand River South East Waterfalls. The wild flora surrounding the fabulous waterfall is amazing and is colonized with monkeys jumping and playing on the trees just beside the waterfalls as they are used to human presence.

If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to see the curious monkeys jumping through the big old trees on the river banks. Watch the Mauritian fruit bats resting perched on the highest trees as you approach the waterfall.

  • Ile Aux Cerfs - The main highlight of this high-speed cruise is a visit to the famed Ile aux Cerfs island. As you approach the Ile aux Cerfs Island by speed boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters. There, you will have free time to spend on the beach, go for a stroll, swim in the lagoon, snorkel, relax on the beach and enjoy one of the water sports activities offered on the island (at an additional cost).
  • Ile Aux Cerfs - At around Noon, you will get to enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch. The lunch menu usually consists of Chicken BBQ and Fish BBQ along with other sides and salads including garlic bread. In case you are a vegetarian, please inform us in advance and we will be glad to arrange a BBQ veg lunch for you to enjoy. During lunch, you will be able to enjoy a complimentary selection of drinks including both non-alcoholic drinks and alcoholic drinks.

While having your lunch, you will enjoy the traditional sega dance, live music, and entertainment. There will be an open bar where you can enjoy a wide selection of unlimited drinks. The crew will prepare the famous banane flambe dessert for you.

  • Blue Bay - Towards the end of the afternoon, it’s time for a thrilling coastal cruise back to the mainland. The whole trip is done in a warm and friendly Mauritian atmosphere! It is an ideal boat trip for anyone looking for a fun and exciting cruising experience at high speed! You are expected to return to the mainland at 16.30 P.M.

Super day excursion - It's a wonderful trip on a slightly cloudy day. The sights are awesome, the views totally worth it. If you are on the east side, probably you can start later instead of 0730 pick up, which was realised by our driver Darren and hence we didn't have to wait beyond 10 mins , highly appreciated Your trip will be on a speedboat, depending upon your level of back health , take this trip. If the sea is slightly violent you will feel every bump and more. Having a good skip who is entertaining changes the perspective, I think this was out souced to a local vendor and both their skippers were very good, especially our one Aidan was too good from dream papa holidays (local vendor). He took the time to show us each place and keep us entertained with his small nuggets of humour. We managed to see the wold turtles and some schools of fishes to swim along with. Pro tip :- 1. if you want to get splashed less ,sit at front if the speedboat. 2. Carry a raincoat/poncho always. It will come handy if it rains or if you are sitting at the back. 3. Don't combine this with any other tour either next day or prior day as your back will hurt. 4.Most of the operators in Mauritius DO NOT offer any life jackets, so if you are coming with an assumption that you will get one since you are entering the sea, you are on your own basis your swimming abilities. In mauritius if you have just 4-5 days or lesser do not miss this tour. If you have more days you can pace yourself Cheers

5 Islandes tour Mauritius Maritime Crystal - Booked at the bootshause in Maritime Crystal. Very nice boat tour along the beautiful beaches with many detours and visits to the islands and a waterfall. There were dolphins, monkeys, sea turtles, birds, bats and of course fishes on a coral reef to see. Drinks and a barbecue on a beach on the island were provided. It was one of the most beautiful days of our lives! Highly recommended. Many thanks to everyone who organized and carried out the perfect excursion and unforgettable day!

Fantastic day out but poor organisation beforehand - Really good day out with lots of fun snorkelling, swimming, barbecues and paddling with drinks. However, the company we booked it through ‘Fresh Verde’ had poor communication and were difficult to identify at the dock (we had to ask different people for help finding them. The activity itself was fantastic but the organisation beforehand (other than the transfer transport that was well organised) was disappointing.

The tour does not correspond to the announced - A company with a mediocre customer service. It was necessary to wait almost 24 hours for a response to a booking change request. Since the tour was relatively well organized, there were flaws in relation to the product sold: There was no visit to Ille de Passe or Ilot Flamants, contrary to what is announced on the website. The skipper was nice, but in the end the product did not meet the expectations, because it did not meet the announced
