A great summer day - This was such a great day! Our guide Brandon took care of everything and made sure we had the best time. The kayaking was actually super relaxing. Brandon was very helpful, giving plenty of directions and making sure everyone was comfortable and knew what to do. The river does most of the work, plus we got to stop at a couple beaches and go for a swim. The food in the lunchbox was delicious and on top of that, we got ice cream! The tour company provides pretty much everything you can think of for the day, so there is absolutely zero stress if you forget anything. You really can just hop in the van and enjoy your day. This was a full day and a great idea if you're looking for something fun to do this summer. I cannot recommend enough.

Highly recommend this tour for a wonderful day outdoors! - This company does EVERYTHING for you! You just show up and enjoy the experience! You are provided with travel to and from all visit points, you have free snacks on the tour bus, all the equipment you need and a mini kayaking 101 lesson. The river was peaceful and easy to navigate for any novice kayaker and provided a lot of great photo opportunities. The summit tower was incredible and we enjoyed a great boxed lunch from a local restaurant. But that wasn't it..... the visit to an ice cream shop (with a pig to greet you) and chocolaterie in Wakefield were the cherry on top of a great day! We learned a lot about the area, its history and about all the wonderful local artisan/businesses. Brandon was a great tour guide!!

Don’t miss this awesome experience! - I can’t recommend this day trip enough. We had a beautiful day leisurely kayaking along the river, followed by a delicious lunch while enjoying the views on the summit. Our tour was then followed by delicious ice cream and chocolate. The tour was so well coordinated and organized. Brandon was awesome and from the moment he picked us up, went out of his way to ensure that everyone had a memorable day. GREAT adventure! - The whole experience was worth it! Met nice people and kayaked in a calm environment. Great lunch from ? Sorry but forgot the name of the place. Guide very knowledgeable on history of the area. The view from the observation tower was so worth it. And the chocolaterie in Wakefield was amazing- the outside of the building does not look like much but the inside and the quality of the chocolate is exquisite. To those of you who will choose this tour will have no regrets.

Fabulous experience - As a novice kayaker, I appreciated that the guide provided instructions and was present the entire time. The lunch that was included was delicious (sandwich and salad) and filling. The weather prevented us going out on the day that was scheduled and the tour operator offered us an alternate date or a complete refund. I’m happy I chose to take the tour. Very pleased with the experience and our guide, Brandon was helpful and friendly. The view from the top of the tower was spectacular!

Highly recommend - An incredible experience, breathtaking views and a lot of fun. Went as a solo traveler there was a few travelling solo. Very friendly and social group the tour guide was brilliant! He really made it an enjoyable experience and was very patient showing fist time kayakers how to stay safe! Highly recommend will be booking another tour with them in the future!

A must do Kayak Tour! - I did this tour on 18th June as a solo traveler. It was a relaxing kayak tour (easy for beginners), followed by a delicious lunch at Mont Morissette observation tower with stunning views. The pick-up and drop-off were on time. Brandon is enthusiastic and one of the friendliest tour guides I have met. He emphasizes safety while ensuring that everyone has fun throughout the tour. Cannot wait to go on other tours with Adventure Outaouais when I visit Ottawa next!

Great customer service, but got cancelled because of weather - Would give it 5 stars but unfortunately I never got the chance to experience this tour. They cancelled because of weather (which btw never ended up showing up). I’m not mad at the tour guides because I understand they are liable. Just a bit disappointed. The refund was given within 24 hours so I’m happy with that. The people in charge were really nice, it’s a shame that I wasn’t able to join their adventures. Overall the customer service and kindness was amazing but since I never got the chance to do it I’ll have to keep my stars low. Hopefully someone else will have the opportunity to enjoy this.
