Fantastic experience with the turtles! - We took part in a turtle tour with Kai and Mimis and it was wonderful! We have also seen turtles in other places (Costa Rica, French Guiana), so we were curious how it will be this time... and it was even better! There were only five of us, besides us there were maybe two other small groups at a hugely long stand, so you could enjoy the experience in total peace. Several turtles came to the beach at night and you could observe them extensively from shore to oviposition. An experience! Kai is German and can explain everything about the turtles great. Tip: Simply book!

Once in a lifetime opportunity to see these beautiful creatures in their natural environment - We had an unbelievable trip with Cabokai Tours to see the turtles whilst on holiday in Cape Verde. Very nice experience - Very nice experience as this visit to turtle beach. Mrs Kai took good care of us and provided useful information about turtle life, reproduction and protection in Cape Verde. Travel agencies have a great responsibility for the pedagogy of protection.

Turtlewatch in a small round - We can highly recommend a trip with Cabokai, we had a great evening at Turtlewatch!! We were on 01.08. with Kai and Mimis and four other holidaymakers at Turtlewatch. It was an incredible experience as part of a wonderfully organized excursion from Kai (cabokai). Communication from Germany was super uncomplicated from the start and was done via What's app. The pick-up was on time at the hotel, after a little get-to-know-you and a little briefing we also started towards Ervatao beach. The ride was in a pick up. In about an hour we went from the Riu Karamboa through small villages and a longer off-road passage once across the island towards the beach of Ervatao. The ride on the cargo area of the pickup truck was an experience in itself. Arriving at the beach of Ervatao Mimis went carefully and only with a little red light in search of "our" turtle, in that time Kai has already told us a lot about the turtles on Boa Vista. Together, after a short time, we slowly and cautiously made our way to "our" turtle. A great experience, we were allowed to experience the digging of the nest, the laying of eggs, the camouflage as well as going back into the sea of this animal. A natural spectacle, far away from any mass tourism that should not be missed. The starry sky perfectly rounded off this mystical scenery. We had a super nice, unique, personal trip with Kai and Mimis, thank you for that.

Wonderful experience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our turtle tour with CapoKai Tours on Boa Vista was an unforgettable experience! We were incredibly lucky to observe the entire process of laying eggs under a breathtaking starry sky. The tour was excellently organized and our guides guided us through the evening with a lot of knowledge and passion. Best Guided Tour to Giant Turtles 2024 - One of the best holiday experiences for my family in a long time. The tour started by the uncomplicated and always approachable quay and a truly reliable local guide in the actually breathtaking Off Road terrain (sea and motion-sickness tablets recommended for movement-sensitive guests) went along the coastline at several conservation checkpoints to the protected oviposition in the middle of nowhere. Very sensitive, conservation-led and always with the right view in the darkness, in which I would not have had a glimmer of place and sight without Kai's leadership skills. The complete procedure of giant turtle reproduction on land is moving and fascinating for all guests with guarantee. The return journey without typical urban light pollution under the starry Milky Way rounded everything off. We will not forget the silent spectacle at night on Cabo Verde. Away from mass tourism trends, CaboKaiTours is the best thing that can happen to a family on a holiday off the coast of West Africa. This trip is an unforgettable experience - We went on this tour as a group of five - 2 adults, 3 kids aged 12, 14 and 17. we had a brilliant experience and can only recommend this trip. Both our driver and sour guide, Kai, were highly experienced and the ride to the remote spot on the beach marked the beginning of our adventure. We learned a lot about caretta Caretta and when we finally got to the sea we experienced a large turtle first digging the hole before she started laying 82 eggs as it were. When she was done she carefully buried the eggs with sand before trying to hide the "nest“ by throwing sand back and forth to disguise everything. We drove back the way we came and this trip was a fantastic start for our holidays in Cabo Verde.

Simply indescribably beautiful - We already booked the trip from home because we made a great trip with Kai and her team years ago and our expectations were fully met. Turtlewatching as we wished, in a small group with many explanations. It was indescribable, you probably only experience it once in your life. Thanks to Kai and also to Mimisch(???) our great driver.
