The HIGHLIGHT of our Bogota Trip! - We are SO happy that we booked Rent a Friend for our first day in Bogota. Aleja was absolutely incredible and we feel like we walked away from this experience with a new friend. Aleja is so knowledgable and passionate about Bogota and Colombia and was genuinely fun to hang out with. We loved that we could set the itinerary and Aleja gave great recommendations beyond the few things we knew we wanted to see. Do not hesitate to book a day (or two or three!) with them. It's the best way to get to know Bogota as a visitor.

The most amazing tour ever !!!!!!! Fantastic - This is the best decision I ever made and the only way to truly get a one of a kind experience. I would recommend this to anyone if you are in Bogota and want to experience the authentic local life but also see hidden gems that the other tours don’t know about you have to book them. I can’t say enough about how amazing of a tour this is. I will definitely do this again.

Just a WOW experience - What can I say about Zebra Fisgona Tours other than wow! And THANK YOU! I reached out to them when I was just getting started on my Colombia trip plans and from the first email till I said good-bye to my Friend Juani it was just such a great experience. Alejandra was invaluable in helping me plan my two full days in Bogota. I really don't think I could have done without her. Juani was a fantastic guide/Friend and just so knowledgeable. From the fruit market to Monseratte to Plaza Bolivar to the Salt Cathedral (and absolutely everything in between) it was a top-notch experience. As a single, female traveler I really appreciated that ZFT is a woman-owned business. I would highly, highly recommend booking an excursion (or two) through ZFT. Again, just a WOW experience.

Brilliant Day with Juanita in Bogota - We had a great day in Bogota with Juanita on the Rent a Local Friend tour, we travelled with our two little boys so things had to be adjusted slightly to accommodate them and pushchairs but Juanita was very helpful and showed us all we wanted to see around Bogota. She gave us lots of advice and recommendations which was really useful for the rest of our time in Bogota, introduced us to loads of Colombian food and was great company. Thank you so much!

Bogota street life in a day - The best thing you can do in a foreign city is rent a local friend, give them a wishlist of what you want to see and then go with the flow. This tour consists of much more than the itinerary and is absolutely well worth the money spent. Aleja took me to places I couldn’t have found myself, and I learned and experienced more than I could have imagined. After the eight-hour tour, I felt confident and safe enough to continue the city exploration on my own for the next two days. With the practical tips Aleja gave me, the rest of my trip was also a great success.

Excellent experience at Rent a friend in Bogota - Incredible experience! From the planning to the last minute of the tour, Juanita had the best attention to me and my family. Awesome experience - My wife and I went with the ‘Rent A Friend’ tour option for our first day in Bogota and are extremely happy with that decision. The communication before the tour allowed us to share the types of things we like to do while traveling so the day we spent with Juani was crafted to exactly what we were looking for. We packed in WAY more in an 8 hour day than we would have on our own (and learned a lot along the way). Juani and Aleja are very knowledgeable Bogota locals and the pride they have in their city (and Colombia in general) shines through in everything they do. We were fortunate to spend the day with Juani and then meet Aleja later in the day- both great people working hard to give their customers the best possible experience. If you’re planning a trip to Bogota, I highly recommend the ‘Rent A Friend’ tour with Zebra Fisgona !

Please do this, best experience in Bogota and my first!! - What an amazing tour I found! I have never done anything like this, and was a little hesitant at first, and had no idea what to expect. But this exceeded all my expectations. I wish I could give this 10/5 stars!! Aleja is the best and I definitely felt like I was hanging out with a friend and just visiting a local. I've never been a big fan of formal tours, but this doesn't even feel like a tour. Aleja is so personable, knowledgable, kind, and I would consider her my first friend I met in Bogota. Please do this, even if you're unsure. I was so lucky that she had availability so last minute for me, I would've felt so lost in Bogota as a solo traveler for my first time. She made sure I was seeing exactly what I wanted, had great recommendations, and awesome planning. Even just doing the 4 hour option without private transport, we will covered so much ground, ate great food, watched a little of the soccer game, and took an Uber to see a really nice neighborhood in the city.

Zebra Fisgona's Rent a Local Friend service is an ideal way to see the Bogota you want to see! - We were a Canadian family of 4, including 2 teenagers, visiting South America for the 1st time with no Spanish language skills. We found Zebra Fisgona's youtube videos doing online research about Bogota before we left home. We loved their energy and the way they presented historical and current information in an interesting way (and their English was fluent). We chose the Rent a Local Friend service as it is flexible, reasonably priced, and allowed us to see what was important to us, both in Bogota and in the surrounding regions. Aleja created a personalized 4 day itinerary that included all of our "must-sees". We had such a fantastic experience - while we are usually DIY travelers, using a local guide in Bogota was the best decision we made. Juanita and Aleja helped us with practical things like finding SIM cards that worked, using Uber and ATMs and fixing issues with online tickets. They had recommendations for groceries and restaurants near our hotel and how to get around safely. Best of all, they were just as much fun in person as they are in their videos. They found what interested each of us, and then shared relevant information about Bogota and Colombia, from a historical perspective as well as what it is like to live here in current day. We would not have seen or learned nearly as much without our local friends. In fact, having watched all of their videos in advance, we arrived feeling we were almost friends and left feeling almost like family. Thank you so much to Zebra Fisgona for making our trip to Bogota an amazing family experience!

Tour and Friend - the perfect match for me. - Exceeded expectations! Aleja is passionate about Colombian culture, history and society. She also knows food both in restaurants and in the market. I speak little Spanish and my goal - in addition to seeing the sights, included gaining skills to use a taxi, take a bus, use an ATM, order in a restaurant. All of my goals were met or exceeded. Aleja has a delightful personality. If you wish to go deeper into any topic of culture or history she has the knowledge and passion to do so. If you wish to see the sights in a simpler less detailed fashion she knows all the key points to share. I had problems with my internet and we went to a mall and installed a better sim card. I wanted to see the market and taste some items - that experience was wonderful. We went to Monserrate and Aleja explained the history. Later in Bolviar plaza she was able to give me an understanding of both the original history of liberation as well as later history from the 1980's and 1990's. I had so much fun that I extended my original 6 hour rent-a-friend to 8 hours. When we said goodbye i felt that I had an diverse and fascinating tourist experience as well as having the feeling that I had spent a day with a friend. Thank-you Aleja.
