The Cellar: An introduction to our primary winemaking techniques. As the experience continues, you will be guided through the wine cellar to understand the processes of production and aging. You may also have the chance to witness live stages of harvesting, grape selection, and bottling, depending on the day of your visit. This is a moment of great pleasure, deepening your appreciation of our company, enhanced by the aromas and flavors of our wines.

Embark on a 90-minute tour and wine-tasting experience at the ‘Terre del Marchesato’ vineyards and winery.

Situated only 3mi (5 km) away from downtown Bolgheri, this one-of-a-kind wine tasting venue is a brief 10-minute car ride away.

‘Terre del Marchesato’ prides itself as one of Bolgheri’s most historical wineries. The guided tour includes a walk through the vineyards, a visit to their winery and a chance to sample their exquisite wines paired with bread and Tuscan extra virgin olive oil:

TARABUSO: A distinct CABERNET SAUVIGNON selection.
FRANCHESATO: A dedicated selection of CABERNET FRANC.
ALDONE: An exclusive selection of MERLOT.
MAURIZIO FUSELLI: A choice selection of PETIT VERDOT, undiluted.

  • May be operated by a multi-lingual guide
  • Minimum drinking age is 18 years for wine tasting. Water is offered to all travelers, on request.

Visit to the cellar with tasting - Beautiful winery with very kind, friendly and competent staff. We visited the vineyard, the cellar and ended with a tasting of all excellent wines

Excellent wine making and tasting experience - Excellent guide Serena, knowledgeable and friendly, answering any and all questions. Beautiful vineyard and atmosphere. Great wines and home made olive oil. Drinks for non wine tasters too, family friendly. One of the best! - We enjoyed our tasting SO much! Not only were we made to feel welcomed by Irena, but she did a great job of explaining to a large group (in English and Italian) about the winery and the wine. Our tasting (one classic and one superior) was fantastic - we enjoyed every single wine and we can’t wait to get back to the US to purchase some. When we left the winery, we tasted some other high end wines at an Enoteca in Bolgheri and decided that we liked #TerreDelMarchesato @TerreDelMarchesato better than anything else. Thank you for making our trip worthwhile!

Exceptional - Guided tour with tasting of excellent wines. The girl was very professional. In addition to tasting the wines, he also let us taste the excellent quality oil. I highly recommend this type of experience.

Premium tasting - We went to the Terre del Marchesato winery for the premium tasting. I express a subjective opinion after my experience. The four red wines are not up to par with the other wines from the renowned and very famous area of origin. Of the wines tasted, the only one that came close to the wines of the area was the Aldone. Instead, we pleasantly discovered the white Papeo. Having seen several wineries throughout Tuscany and also outside the region, I personally won't go into technicalities (because on such occasions I don't think it appropriate), but I would like to underline that in a visit to a winery you cannot first taste the wines and then proceed to the tour of the company and the cellar

We had promised ourselves more - The tour and information were interesting. Tasting for €25: only 1 white wine and two red wines. Very stingy poured, for which we had paid €25. You had to pay extra for the other wines for tasting We had expected more, it was disappointing, we didn't buy anything because the wine wasn't to our taste.
