Hobie’s utilizes the innovative mirage pedal drive system which allows for hands-free propulsion: it feels like cheating! On our trip, we begin at our kayak launch and discover our first mangrove tunnel. We will continue to meander through an enchanting inlet that will allow you to soak in all the natural wonders of our local mangrove systems! Mike will share his wealth of knowledge of wildlife and the area! Our journey will lead us to the Gulf of Mexico, a calm gulf that has a host of wildlife providing ample chance for mesmerizing encounters! Mike will be sure to take a wide variety of complimentary pictures of the experience; whether it’s birds, dolphins, or manatees gracing us with their presence, Mike will capture it! The expedition will lead us further into the island’s vast system of mangroves and we will explore various mangrove tunnels that will lead us to Estero Bay! This Bay is a bread basket of many forms of wildlife which offers a wealth of information for our travelers! We will then watch our sunset, and turn on our LED to return to the launch glowing the nocturnal wonders that surround us!

Our Hobie Pedal Mirage Drives and their powerful LED lighting make our sunset kayak tour unique. Whether you choose to paddle or pedal, your experience will be epic, and allow you to effortlessly go through currents, go further, and see more. The LED glow lights not only highlight the mangrove eco system but make the experience very exciting.
Southwest Florida Sunsets are breath taking, as you travel to the beach to watch the sunset, we will search for Dolphins and Manatees, and navigate mangrove tunnels. When we return from the sunset, the LEDs will light your way in an special way.
- Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult on a tandem

There is no physical address: Be sure to pull up Big Hickory Island on either google or Apple Maps. We are located at the south bridge of the island on Big Hickory Pass. Look for the GIANT TRAILER with Manatee and Dolphin, it's very unique! There will be other outfitters too on busy days!

Run Call Glow Ride Fun Heaven 4REAL! - The Best , it was fun,engaging ,easy enoughcomfortable views are amazing . The tour guide we can’t say enough wonderful about him 200% do it !! we’re seriously ready to do it again . The glow lights are the best topping !

Sunset tour - Mike was a friendly cool dude! He knew a lot of info about ocean life. His kayaks are top notch. The pedal feature make this tour easy and relaxing.
Offers to take photos of your group to send to you, water, sunscreen and bug spray!
We did the sunset tour. Mikes takes you to a private beach where the views are beautiful. And the kayaks have LED lights which is a neat experience also!
Would book another tour with him!

The trip was amazing! I... - The trip was amazing! I was nervous with it being my first time kayaking but Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful. 10/10 recommend, would totally do it again.

OUTSTANDING! Highly recommend - A Hobie kayak is easy and fun to pedal. It keeps your hands free to take beautiful sunset pictures.
Mike is so kind and goes out of his way to make sure all are safe and having a great time. He is very knowledgeable about the marine environment. This is a must do while visiting SWFL!

10/10 recommend Mikes Coastal Expeditions’ - Mikes kayak sunset tour was amazing! 10/10 recommend this activity! Mike was so personable and fun to be with! He was also very knowledgeable about many things during the trip! Mike also took us to a new sand bar where we got to watch the sunset and collect shells. I would recommend his business to anyone and hope to be back one day!

AWESOME! - This guided light up sunset tour was awesome! Mike was the best tour guide. We paddled through the mangroves & saw manatees, stingrays & finished the tour with the sunset & glow up ride. Definitely a must do if visiting!

Great Sunset tour! - The sunset tour was top notch. Mike is an excellent guide (knowledgeable and chill) and the boats are great. This needs to be part of your Bonita springs visit!

Absolutely amazing experience!! - We had a great time!! Cannot recommend the sunset tour enough. Mike is so knowledgeable and friendly. For some of us this was our first time kayaking and it was very approachable. The beach we went to for sunset was mesmerizing. The LEDs were amazing- we got to see so much wildlife in the water. If you’re in the area, do this.
